Playing on the road for the first time in their collegiate careers did not rattle Duke’s talented freshmen. They were looking forward to it. "It was great, just getting to see different scenery, getting to see some snow out here," DJ Steward said after scoring 16 points and grabbing a team-high seven rebounds to help the 21st-ranked Blue Devils beat Notre Dame 75-65 Wednesday night. "I’m used to the snow," added Steward, a Chicago native, "but a lot of our guys aren’t." Even the atmosphere inside the arena caught Steward’s attention. While the Fighting Irish are allowing a light smattering of family and friends to attend games during the pandemic, Duke hasn’t been permitting any outsiders back home at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Here’s what to look for in the Atlantic Coast Conference in week 10: GAME OF THE WEEK No. 2 Notre Dame (7-0, 6-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) at Boston College (5-3, 4-3). The Fighting Irish are coming off a huge, double-overtime, 47-40 home victory over then-No. 1 Clemson that put them alone in first place in the ACC and kept alive their hopes of appearing in the College Football Playoff. The teams last played in the Boston metro area in 2015, when the No. 4 Fighting Irish held off BC for a 19-16 win at Fenway Park. Notre Dame leads series 16-9 after last year’s 40-7 win. Brian Kelly is 6-0 against Boston College as Notre Dame’s coach and is seeking his 100th career victory at the school. He’ll be facing one of his former quarterbacks, Phil Jurkovec. The sophomore transfer completed 12 of 24 passes for 204 yards and two touchdowns in a six-point loss at Clemson two weeks ago, leads the ACC with 2,083 passing yards, and is an adept scrambler who can throw effectively on the run....

Ian Book, Notre Dame Fighting Irish. (Photo by Dylan Buell/Getty Images) Notre Dame football will be a huge part of ACC football in 2020 season.Notre Dame football will play a 10-game ACC football schedule during the 2020 NCAA season. In the age of the coronavirus, we were expected the Power 5 conferences to do whatever was in their best interest to keep playing college football, as well as do their best to control the spread of the virus. While the Big Ten and Pac-12 announced weeks ago they were going conference-only, the ACC will go conference-only with 10 games, as well as a plus-one with a caveat. As expected Notre Dame was grouped into the ACC’s plans this year, as the Fighting Irish are full-time members in every other sport of note in the ACC. Notre Dame plays six ACC games anyway as a quasi-football member, while maintaining national independence, as well as that sweet television contract with NBC every other college football program is most jealous of.Here is everything you must know about Notre Dame playing in the ACC.For...
