Women who accused Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse sued Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan Chase on Thursday, accusing the mega banks of enabling the dead billionaire's alleged “commercial sex trafficking enterprise.” The lawsuits, filed in New York and first reported by the Wall Street Journal, claim the institutions overlooked several “suspicious” withdrawals and payments from Epstein’s bank accounts to profit off his alleged sex crimes—and to retain the business of wealthy clients associated with Epstein. “Knowing that they would earn millions of dollars from facilitating Epstein’s sex trafficking, and from its relationship with Epstein, Deutsche Bank chose profit over following the law,” one of the suits stated. Deutsche Bank released a statement to The Daily Beast saying the lawsuits were “without merit,” adding that they plan to fight the allegations in court. Representatives from JPMorgan did not respond to a request for comment. Both banks have been accused of violating the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000—a federal law passed to provide tools to combat trafficking in persons both worldwide and domestically. The lawsuit against Deutsche Bank...
In her first interview since her conviction for trafficking underaged girls with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell lamented the way that her famous friends — Prince Andrew and former Presidents Donald Trump and Bill Clinton — have been excoriated for once being close to her. Maxwell reflected on her friendships with these men in an exclusive interview with The Sun, published over the  weekend. Speaking from a federal prison, where she is serving 20 years, Maxwell particularly focused on Andrew, saying she “feels so bad” for him. The former British socialite, 60, “appeared shaken” when The Sun’s reporter Daphne Barak told her that Andrew’s lawyers claimed they were never close. The Oxford-educated daughter of British press baron Robert Maxwell, told the U.K. tabloid, “I accept that this friendship could not survive my conviction.” She added, “He is paying such a price for the association. I consider him a dear friend. I care about him.” Maxwell said she had followed reports about Andrew’s downfall. Earlier this year, the son of the late Queen Elizabeth II paid a reported...
Ghislaine Maxwell said she feels “so bad” for her “dear friend” Prince Andrew. Maxwell, 60, made the comment in her first interview since her conviction last year for a CBS-Paramount Plus documentary. The Duke of York, 62, has gone above and beyond to deny his connections to the convicted sex trafficker as he faces scandal himself, and Maxwell reportedly looked "shaken" when told Andrew denies the two were ever close, according to the Guardian. “I feel so bad for him. I follow what is happening to him," she told filmmaker Daphne Barak. QUEEN STRIPS PRINCE ANDREW OF MILITARY AFFILIATIONS AND ROYAL PATRONAGE “I accept that this friendship could not survive my conviction. He is paying such a price for the association. I consider him a dear friend. I care about him," Maxwell said when told of Andrew's denial of their connection. When asked if she would continue being friends with him after her prison term, she replied, “I don’t have an expectation. People who I have been friends with, and very close friends with … I...
Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has made friends in prison with a convicted double murderer. The 60-year-old ex-girlfriend and former business partner of Jeffrey Epstein was convicted in December and is serving 20 years in prison for her role in facilitating Epstein's abuse of several underage girls. Since being moved to a low-security, amenity-filled Florida prison, Maxwell has struck up a friendship with Narcy Novack, who since 2012 has been serving a life sentence without parole for murdering her wealthy hotel-heir husband, Ben Novack Jr., and his mother in an effort to access their estate. Ghislaine Maxwell has become best friends with infamous double killer Narcy Novack as they languish in a Florida prison together, reports say. The pair are reported to have spent long hours talking, laughing and joking around in the low-security FCI Tallahassee. Their similar ages - Maxwell being 60 and Novack, 65 - as well as their wealthy backgrounds and long sentences is said to have cemented their bond. Maxwell was sent to the prison late last month after being sentenced to 20 years for helping billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein abuse underage girls. Novack was jailed in 2012, having been convicted of orchestrating the beating deaths of her millionaire husband and mother-in-law.  Ghislaine Maxwell 'is best friends with infamous double killer Narcy Novack in low-security Florida prison and spend hours talking, laughing and joking'  Narcy Novack, 65, of Fort Lauderdale, was sentenced to life in jail at FCI Tallahassee, a low-security prison in Florida. 'Once inside, Ghislaine gravitated towards Narcy. Because of her length of time inside and the brutality of her crime, she is treated like a female don,' one source told The Mirror. ...
He gone. Former Chicago Cubs president Theo Epstein is leaving Chicago and heading back East. Epstein’s successor, president Jed Hoyer, confirmed the rumor Monday on WSCR-AM670′s “Mully and Haugh Show.” Epstein’s destination is unknown, but the Boston native will be closer to family and Major League Baseball offices in New York. Since leaving the Cubs after nine seasons on Nov. 17, 2020, Epstein has worked as a consultant to Commissioner Rob Manfred, focusing on potential rules changes to improve the game. He’s long been speculated as a replacement for Manfred down the road, though Epstein has never publicly voiced interest in becoming commissioner. Epstein spent part of his final weekend in Chicago at Wrigley Field, spending time with friends in the left field bleachers Friday and with family on Sunday. According to Epstein’s friends, who asked not to be named, Friday’s excursion to Wrigley was a spin on the 1986 movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” with Epstein playing the role of Ferris — Matthew Broderick’s character who enjoys an adventurous summer day in Chicago with a stopover at Wrigley. In a new interview, Bill Gates painted a more equanimous portrait of his marriage to and ongoing relationship with Melinda French Gates, who offered a harsher take in a separate interview in March. That month, French Gates pointedly told CBS broadcaster Gayle King that while she and Bill still work together on “friendly” terms, they’ve grown distant to the point that she would not consider him a friend. “That might come over time. But for me, there’s still healing that needs to happen,” she said. Gates apparently sees things differently. In an article published on Sunday, a columnist for the British newspaper The Sunday Times asked Gates if the former couple remain friends. “I would say that. In an interview she chose not to use that word, but I’ll use it,” the billionaire replied. “We have a, you know, super important, complex, close relationship where we’ve chosen to work together.” The interview also touched on Gates’ ties to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, which French Gates cited as one of “many” reasons for their split. As The Daily Beast...
ASSOCIATES and former friends of Ghislaine Maxwell should be "quaking in their boots" following her conviction on federal sex trafficking charges because they're "not above the law", experts have warned. Maxwell, 60, was found guilty on Wednesday of five counts of federal sex trafficking after a jury determined that she had recruited and groomed teenage girls to be sexually abused by her friend, the late pedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein. 8Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted earlier this week of helping to procure and traffick underage girls for Jeffrey EpsteinCredit: Getty 8Former President Bill Clinton shared a years-long relationship with Epstein but denied any wrongdoing or knowledge of his illegal behaviorsCredit: Netflix Now facing 65 years behind bars, it's been suggested that Maxwell could dish the dirt to prosecutors on a number of big names who have previously been linked to Epstein in an effort to lower her sentence. Prior to her July 2020 arrest, and Epstein's suicide in August 2019, for decades the pair had rubbed shoulders and fraternized with rich businessmen, A-list celebrities, and high-profile politicians. Former Presidents Bill Clinton...
A civil rights attorney representing more than 50 alleged victims of Jeffrey Epstein's sex-trafficking ring expressed doubt that co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell would rat for a more lenient sentence Thursday on "Tucker Carlson Tonight." Maxwell's conviction includes five counts in the federal sex trafficking case. One of the charges, sex trafficking of a minor, can carry a maximum of 40 years in prison. Another conviction carries a maximum of 10, and the rest a maximum of five years.  Maxwell, 60, could spend the rest of her life in prison. (Court Exhibit) Brad Edwards does not believe Maxwell would rat because she had opportunities prior and chose not to, he said, adding that Maxwell's level of involvement with Epstein is likely to reduce the chance she could have a significantly reduced sentence. GHISLAINE MAXWELL'S CONVICTION COULD SPELL TROUBLE FOR PRINCE ANDREW "Maxwell had a chance for the last 10 years to tell all — [such as] who she knew. In fact, there was a time when she could have just simply ratted out her boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein, and probably done pretty...
Friends and family of alleged 'madam' Ghislaine Maxwell have asked to remain anonymous if they testify in her defence. Maxwell, who could face an 80-year prison sentence if found guilty of six sex trafficking charges, will begin the 'fight for her life' in New York on Thursday when her lawyers launch her defence case. The socialite stands accused of procuring women and underage girls for the billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. She vehemently denies the charges. Maxwell, who could face an 80-year prison sentence if found guilty of six sex trafficking charges, will begin the 'fight for her life' in New York on Thursday when her lawyers launch her defence case The prosecution rested its case on Friday after calling Annie Farmer, who testified that she was fondled and abused by Maxwell when she was 14. Christian Everdell, a lawyer representing Maxwell, asked the court to allow some defence witnesses to withhold their real names, as they had requested, saying: 'People who testify might get a lot of unwanted attention, especially if they are testifying on behalf of Ms Maxwell'. NEW YORK (AP) — One of Ghislaine Maxwell’s accusers testified Tuesday that she was just 14 years old when the British socialite had her undress, fondled her and told her she had a “great body” that financier Jeffrey Epstein would enjoy. The woman, who was identified only by her first name, Carolyn, was the third witness to testify at the sex trafficking trial about being sexually abused by Epstein in encounters facilitated by Maxwell, his one-time girlfriend and, later, employee. Carolyn offered some of the most explicit descriptions so far at the New York trial of Maxwell’s alleged grooming of underage victims, who prosecutors say were lured into “a pyramid scheme of abuse.” At times choking up, she testified that she was a heavy drug user and middle school dropout when she was first taken to Epstein’s estate in Palm Beach, Florida, by an older teenage friend, Virginia Roberts, now known as Virginia Giuffre. They were greeted by Maxwell, who said “You can take her upstairs and show her what to do,” Carolyn testified. She said Giuffre and Epstein had...

Maxwell, 59, allegedly greeted the teens at the door and told Giuffre to take Carolyn upstairs to Epstein’s bedroom and show her the ropes. Maxwell touched Carolyn's breasts, hips and butt, and commented that she "had a great body for Epstein and his friends," according to Carolyn. Each time she visited, $300 in cash was left for her on the bathroom sink, she said -- but it was not without a cost."Something sexual happened every single time," Carolyn said. Now in her 30s, Carolyn described her teenage experiences with Epstein on Tuesday in Maxwell's federal trial on charges including sex trafficking of minors. Ghislaine Maxwell's second accuser Carolyn visited Jeffrey Epstein's home more than 100 times, two to three times a week, between the ages of 14 and 18, she claims.  Carolyn, who is going by only her first name instead of a pseudonym, testified Tuesday that she was introduced to Ghislaine Maxwell when she was 14 years old and went to Epstein's Palm Beach mansion where she gave him a massage.  'Maxwell came in and felt my boobs,' Carolyn said. 'She told me that I had a great body for Mr. Epstein and his friends.'  She added that Maxwell 'took pictures of me nude' and also photographed 'the stuff with Epstein.'  Becoming emotional, Carolyn said that Maxwell 'took off her clothes' and Carolyn left her bra and underwear on. Carolyn said Virginia Roberts was also there and is the one who introduced her to Epstein.  'After 45 minutes of massaging his back, Epstein turned over, and Epstein and Virginia [Roberts] started having sex,' Carolyn said, adding that she earned $300. When asked why she continued to go back to Epstein's home, Carolyn...
Ghislaine Maxwell dressed a British teenager in a schoolgirl uniform for sex with Jeffrey Epstein then called her a 'good girl', a court heard yesterday. Maxwell is said to have bragged of her friendship with Prince Andrew and allegedly told the 18-year-old how Epstein liked 'cute, young, pretty' girls. After first befriending the 'lonely' youngster in London when she was 17, Maxwell persuaded her to give the financier massages at her Belgravia townhouse, it was claimed. She allegedly led the youngster to a room where a naked Epstein 'engaged in a sex act', before Maxwell asked her accuser afterwards: 'How did it go, did you have fun? Was it good?' Yesterday the woman, now 44, took the witness stand at the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse in New York where Maxwell is on trial for allegedly sex trafficking children. In a cut-glass accent, and giving evidence under the pseudonym Kate, she told jurors Maxwell once gave her a schoolgirl uniform and said: 'I thought it would be fun for you to take Jeffrey his tea in this outfit.' (AP Photo/Elizabeth Williams) Elizabeth Williams/AP A British woman named "Kate" testified Monday that Ghislaine Maxwell pressured her into giving Jeffrey Epstein sexual massages when she was still a teenager and asked if the then-17-year-old had any friends willing to give the disgraced financier oral sex because "it was a lot for her to do." Kate, now 44, described how Maxwell taught her how to give Epstein sexualized massages and said that during one of the first encounters, the 59-year-old British socialite told her to...
Disgraced socialite Ghislaine Maxwell is prepared to give evidence to help Prince Andrew fight a sex abuse lawsuit, friends have reportedly said. On Sunday, Virginia Roberts Giuffre filed a civil lawsuit against Andrew in the United States, alleging that he sexually assaulted her when she 17 and was aware that she was a victim of sex trafficking.    Andrew has always denied any wrongdoing and friends of Maxwell say she will support the prince's assertions, The Telegraph reported. Maxwell has always supported Andrew's claims of innocence. Roberts, now 38, claims she was forced to have sex with Andrew on three separate occasions and was 'lent out for sexual purposes' by convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Friends of Maxwell, who is currently in jail awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, said she will testify on Andrew's behalf should the case reach a court, according to The Telegraph. However, for her evidence to be considered credible, she would have to first be cleared of wrongdoing in her own trial. 'Ghislaine will be prepared to give evidence on the Duke's behalf,' the paper reported an unnamed friend as saying. ...

Some of Jeffrey Epstein's alleged co-conspirators are set to testify against Ghislaine Maxwell in her trial later this year, court documents suggest. Prosecutors said in a filing that the material for the trial includes 'any co-conspirator statements', a major sign that one of Epstein's inner circle has turned state's witness. Prosecutors said that nine weeks before the trial, which is set to begin in November, they would turn over to the defense 'the identity of any unindicted co-conspirator' they plan to call to give evidence. A separate filing from Maxwell seeking dismissal of the case says that one accuser was 'encouraged to recruit other females to provide massages to Epstein.' The filings strongly indicate that some of the four women who were named as potential 'co-conspirators' under Epstein's sweetheart plea deal in 2008, under which he served just 15 months in jail for having sex with children, could face off against Maxwell in court. Sarah Kellen, 40, who is accused of having a rolodex of women she would call up for massages at Epstein's mansion in Palm Beach, Florida,...

Prince Andrew was today dragged into the US court battle engulfing Ghislaine Maxwell today after she was charged with new offences linked to Jeffrey Epstein at a time when the paedophile was socialising with the royal. The Duke of York is facing renewed calls to be questioned by the FBI after developments in the child sex inquiry overnight expanded the breadth of the investigation.  Maxwell, who was Epstein’s longtime associate and former girlfriend, faces new charges of sex trafficking conspiracy and sex trafficking of a minor in the eight-count indictment, as well as earlier charges that include perjury.  An amended indictment against Maxwell now covers alleged crimes stretching from 1994 to 2004 in New York and Florida, including accusations that she paid the girl, known as Minor Victim-4, hundreds of dollars for each sexual act with Epstein. The girl was 14 when the grooming began, the indictment said.  She had previously pleaded not guilty to helping Epstein recruit and groom three teenage girls for sex between 1994 and 1997 in New York. Maxwell, 59, has been held in a jail...
Ghislaine Maxwell speaks at a news conference at the United Nations in New York Reuters Lawyers for Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell have asked for a new bail hearing for her — this one to be kept secret. They say they want to submit letters from friends and family in support of her bail application, and that making such letters public would open them up to threats. They cited anonymous social media posts as examples of the kinds of death threats Maxwell has received, and that her associates could receive as well. Maxwell was already denied bail in July, but now her lawyers are trying again. Visit Insider's homepage for more stories. Lawyers for Ghislaine Maxwell are trying to keep the details of her bail hearing under seal, arguing that making the details public would subject her friends and family members to harassment and death threats. They asked Judge Alison Nathan, who's overseeing the Jeffrey Epstein associate's criminal case, to hold a private hearing to review all bail materials. The new bail package, they say, will include...
Bill Clinton was so out of touch when he left office in 2001 that he had to ask somebody to explain the TV show Friends to him. The former President asked his close aide Doug Band to tell him what was going on with the hit series which was an unavoidable juggernaut at the time. Friends premiered on NBC in September 1994, after Clinton was sworn in, and was rated the most watched show of the 1990s. In a scorching article in Vanity Fair Band, who became like an adopted son to Clinton, paints a sad portrait of the former President after he left the White House. Clinton was holed up in his colonial mansion in Chappaqua, New York, playing cards and telling war stories to Band because nobody else was around. At the time ‘no one wanted to be around Clinton. No one wanted to work for him. He was a pariah’, Band claims. Clinton felt lonely and depressed because his wife Hillary was living in Washington and his daughter Chelsea was away studying at Oxford. The former President didn’t carry...
At Thanksgiving, Americans get together to celebrate what really matters — family, friends, food and fellowship. Even if Covid-19 is this year putting a brake on many reunions, it must be the hardest time of the year to be behind bars. And the holiday — which began on Thursday and continues all weekend — will certainly not be easy for one prisoner, Ghislaine Maxwell. In the 'glory days' when she and Jeffrey Epstein glided through their pampered world of private jets, Caribbean islands and amenable royal friends, this U.S. 'holiday season' would see the tireless British socialite spend more than a month partying in the billionaire circles of Manhattan and Palm Beach, Florida, that she and her paedophile chum loved to move in. And the holiday — which began on Thursday and continues all weekend — will certainly not be easy for one prisoner, Ghislaine Maxwell (pictured) Today, as she languishes in her tiny solitary cell at the forbidding Metropolitan Detention Centre (MDC) in Brooklyn, New York, her mind may be wandering back to Thanksgivings past — perhaps the...
A new lawsuit, filed by the Attorney General of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Denise George, demands that flight logs from Jeffrey Epstein’s four helicopters and three planes be made public, sparking “panic” among the late socialite’s famous friends, according to reports from the UK’s Mirror and Daily Mail. “The Attorney General for the US Virgin Islands, where Epstein had a home, has demanded logs for his four helicopters and three planes, from 1998 to his suicide last year,” the Mirror reported Monday. “Denise George has filed a lawsuit against Epstein’s estate, alleging 22 counts, including aggravated rape, child abuse and neglect, human trafficking, forced labour and prostitution.” “As well as the passenger lists, Ms. George is seeking any ‘complaints or reports of potentially suspicious conduct’ and any personal notes the pilots made,” the outlet noted. George is also seeking names of possible witnesses who may have interacted with Epstein, his guests, his pilots, or other members of his household staff during Epstein’s visits to the islands, as well as “observers” who may have interacted with Epstein’s passengers — both his...

Jeffrey Epstein’s “black book” was filled with the names and personal contact information of world leaders, famous musicians and actors that Epstein knew. It also left many wondering whether many of the famous people involved with him knew about his sex abuse crimes and kept them a secret, or whether Epstein’s crimes were so discreet as to be overlooked by his posse.
A woman who claims she was abused by Jeffery Epstein, the billionaire pedophile financier, has spoken of how he 'got off on her terror' during an assault in 2004. Kiki, who chose to keep her real name anonymous, has recounted how she arrived in New York city from Texas at the age of 19 with aspirations of becoming a model. However, after being dropped by her modelling agency, she was struggling to pay rent and working part time in the Union Square cafe The Coffee Shop.  While working there she says she was approached by an attractive woman, offering her an 'opportunity', which would involve giving her wealthy 'client' a 30 minute massage for several hundred dollars.  She was told that this mystery man had ties to the fashion industry and was friends with supermodels, and was an attractive prospect for a young woman struggling for money.  Pictured: Former model Kiki, who alleges sexual assault by the late Jeffrey Epstein, speaks during a press conference on February 5, 2020. Ghislaine Maxwell’s suspected husband had “military” patrols at the house where the accused madam was rumored to be hiding out — warning local cops that he would use high levels of force if “under siege,” according to a report. Scott Borgerson — believed to be Maxwell’s secret husband — wrote to the chief of police near his Massachusetts home last August when it was widely rumored that the British socialite was living with him while hiding out after Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide, according to DailyMail.com. The 44-year-old tech CEO reportedly warned that he intended to use “level four use of force” if he found an intruder — a law enforcement term that could include the use of a Taser or pepper spray, the report said. It would also include dog bites, strikes to the head and neck holds, the outlet said. Borgerson said that he had “blanketed” his $2.4 million Manchester-by-the-Sea mansion with surveillance cameras — and had “several military/intelligence friends” protecting the property, the report said. In one email, he mentioned that he was taking his family on vacation to...
Prince Andrew has broken cover as Ghislaine Maxwell made an 11th-hour bid to prevent documents laying bare her relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and the sex lives of her rich and powerful friends being published today. The Duke of York was in his Bentley with his bodyguard as he drove out of the gates of Windsor Castle this morning where he has been keeping a low profile at his lodge in the grounds of his mother the Queen's estate. His rare public appearance came amid more legal drama in the US involving his friend Ghislaine Maxwell, who is in a New York jail accused of helping groom girls for abuse by Epstein. Maxwell has made a last minute challenge to prevent documents laying bare her personal relationship with the billionaire paedophile being made public arguing they could expose 'intrusive' details about her own sex life.  They were due to be unsealed today - but this has been delayed until Monday pending the result of her application to the Second Circuit Court in New York.  Prince Andrew drives himself out of Windsor Castle...

A DIVE instructor has reportedly been arrested for raping a tourist during a dive excursion off the south coast of Majorca. The alleged sex attack is said to have happened after the holidaymaker remained in the boat with one of the monitors while her friends began their dive with other instructors. Respected Majorcan paper Ultima Hora said the incident happened on Friday during a dive trip off Cabrera, a national park which is 11 miles off the southern coast of Majorca. She told her friends what had happened when they returned to the boat before making a formal complaint at a Civil Guard station in Santanyi in south-east Majorca. The force has yet to make an official statement. The woman, who underwent a medical examination at Son Espases Hospital in Palma after filing her complaint, is understood to be German. The dive instructor, who has not been named, has denied any wrongdoing and has been released without charge by an investigating judge pending an ongoing criminal probe. Statements are due to be taken...

Jeffrey Epstein's 'madam' Ghislaine Maxwell is secretly married, US prosecutors revealed yesterday, and an acquaintance of hers has speculated that she may have tied the knot secretly to 'protect' her $10 million fortune. Maxwell, who is accused of enabling Epstein's sex trafficking of minor girls and facing Federal charges in Manhattan, has refused to name her mystery spouse, US prosecutors have said. According to The Times, the acquaintance believes Maxwell secretly married to 'to protect the money she had'.  Maxwell is believed to be worth around $10 million and living off an $80,000-a-year trust fund set up by her father - Robert Maxwell. The source also said when they last met two years ago, Maxwell looked different to how she normally did. 'She had grey hair. She was actually plump which normally she’s not,' the source told the newspaper. 'I asked her where she was living and she wouldn’t tell me. She said, "A little bit of everywhere."' An author has shared his childhood memories of Ghislaine Maxwell, recalling how she was a 'beautiful' yet 'threatening figure' even as a young girl.  Historian and newspaper columnist Ben Macintyre, 56, described Maxwell, 58, as 'an unlikely figure of glamour among the dons' daughters' who attended the prestigious Oxford High School, where she was an exact contemporary of his older sister.  'Ghislaine was envied, admired, teased for her money, and mocked for her slow reading,' he continued in an article for digital weekly publication Air Mail ahead of her court appearance in New York tomorrow.   'But she was more than capable of bullying, perhaps inspired by her father.' Prince Andrew's 'awkward' nature has been exposed by a Tatler writer who interviewed more than 30 of the Duke's friends and acquaintances for a portait of the royal's controversial social life.  The Duke of York, 60, has been under scrutiny over his friendship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, who has been charged with child sex trafficking and perjury, and his alleged partying in the nineties. Writing in Times 2, UK-based Vassi Chamberlain, a former features editor at society bible Tatler, claimed that on a night out 'sexy young women' would throw their hands all over the eighth-in-line to the throne - who they refer to as 'Andy'.  Ms Chamberlain recalled being at a dinner party hosted by an art dealer with the Prince in the 1990s, where she alleged his 'sexual appetite' was on full display.  UK-based Vassi Chamberlain - Former features editor at society bible Tatler - alleged that on a night out 'sexy young women' would throw their hands all over Prince Andrew. Ghislaine Maxwell is understood to have hired ex-SAS guards after she was left with 'real fear' for her life due to her relationship with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. She payed £154,345 to company The Next Step which gave her advice 'on the preservation of life and how to relocate', court documents reveal. The Next Step helps veterans as they move back into civilian life.  There is no suggestion that the firm - run by army veteran Matt Hellyer - helped her escape authorities and it did not give her any personal protection, The Sun on Sunday reports.  It comes amid fears for her safety in jail, with one friend warning: 'There is too much power involved if she really talks.' Ghislaine Maxwell's friends have said they fear for her safety in jail, with one warning: 'There is too much power involved if she really talks.' Maxwell, 58, was arrested on Thursday in New Hampshire and faces six counts relating to charges of enticing and trafficking minors for sex. The connections stem from her relationship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who killed himself in prison in August awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.  She is being held without bail in the state, ahead of her transfer to New York - the jurisdiction which is prosecuting. Maxwell is in jail and Epstein killed himself Those who know the French-born British socialite, who also holds U.S. citizenship, say they are concerned for her well-being.   'I'm absolutely worried for her safety,' said Christopher Mason, a TV host and journalist who has known Maxwell since the 1980s.  'Do I think she's in danger? Yes.' Mason, who is appearing in the new docu-series 'Surviving Jeffrey Epstein' in August on Lifetime, added that the threat to Maxwell — now headed to...
Friends of Ghislaine Maxwell are worried the disgraced socialite could get whacked in prison or die by suicide like her predator ex-lover and boss, Jeffrey Epstein. “I’m absolutely worried for her safety,” said Christopher Mason, a TV host and journalist who has known Maxwell since the 1980s. “Do I think [she’s] in danger? Yes.” Mason, who is appearing in the new docu-series “Surviving Jeffrey Epstein” in August on Lifetime, added that the threat to Maxwell — now headed to the same Manhattan lock-up where Epstein died last August — could be greater because of reports she might cooperate with authorities. “The authorities are open to the possibility of some cooperation,” Mason said. “In a way, I can’t imagine her ever giving up Prince Andrew, but if it’s life imprisonment with no hope of parole, it might be tempting. She of all of those people knew who slept with whom and [which young girl] was assigned to whom.” Epstein, 66, hanged himself last year inside his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center while facing charges he sexually abuse of dozens...
Jeffrey Epstein had “complete control” over Ghislaine Maxwell from almost the moment they met, even ordering her to fetch him chicken soup when he was sick, a pal of the disgraced British socialite told The Post. “She’s a kind of a victim of [Epstein],” said the friend, who called Maxwell’s relationship with Epstein “a tragic story.” “If you ask any psychiatrist, [they will tell you] there are bad marriages where you will do anything for the person you’re with. … I feel like yelling at her. ‘Ghislaine, for God’s sake, why? WHY?’ It was about money, the glamor and the lifestyle.” Ghislaine was “already a damaged, broken girl,” when she arrived in New York and met Epstein, said her friend, who has known Maxwell since the 1990s. “She came to United States after the horrific death of her father, whom she adored, her brother went to jail, the mother was freaking out and [the British government] had just took the big house she grew up in away. “She used to sit and cry on her sofa and say, ‘They...

As Jeffrey Epstein’s ‘pimp’ Ghislaine Maxwell spends her first days behind bars, a lawyer for their alleged victims who predicted the pervert financier would die in jail says she will likely suffer the same fate. Spencer Kuvin told DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview that Maxwell ‘knows too much’ and that powerful people may want to silence her even as she is locked up. ‘It may be that she can’t handle the fear of what’s going to happen to her and takes matters into her own hands or there will be people who are very afraid of what she has to say,’ Kuvin predicted.  Maxwell has an astonishing international network of friends and acquaintances, some of whom have no doubt helped her lay low since Epstein's suicide.  Kuvin said people laughed at him when he predicted that Epstein would die in prison — but his gut is telling him the same thing about Maxwell. Maxwell, 58, was arrested on Thursday on federal charges relating to her allegedly enticing underage girls for Epstein to abuse. She won the trust of girls as...
Washington Free Beacon senior investigative reporter Alana Goodman told "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Thursday that the circumstances of the arrest of Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein's ex-girlfriend and alleged madam, were "very bizarre." "There were rumors of all different places that she was supposedly at," said Goodman, co-author of "A Convenient Death: The Mysterious Demise of Jeffrey Epstein." "I mean, some people claimed maybe [Maxwell was in] Paris. I mean, people had spotted her in Paris. There were claims about London. There were claims about, like, the Israeli embassy and things like that," Goodman added. "There's been some pretty wild speculation, but I think generally the idea was people assumed she was out of the country." WHO IS GHISLAINE MAXWELL? Maxwell was arrested Thursday morning in the small town of Bradford, N.H., where she had been residing in a million-dollar estate. The 58-year-old appeared virtually before a federal magistrate in nearby Concord Thursday afternoon and waived her right to a detention hearing, clearing the way for her transfer to New York. She was ordered held without bail on multiple sex abuse charges, including conspiracy to entice...
Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein’s closest confidante, was arrested by the FBI in New Hampshire on Thursday. Who is Ghislaine Maxwell? She’s a 58-year-old British heiress, born in France as the youngest of nine children to Elizabeth and Robert Maxwell, and raised in a 53-room mansion in Oxford. Robert Maxwell, a publishing tycoon who once served in the British Parliament, was a charismatic but shady businessman who died in mysterious circumstances in 1991 when he disappeared from the deck of his yacht, the Lady Ghislaine, anchored off the Canary Islands. Family observers previously told The Daily Beast that it was not strange that Ghislaine and some of her sisters were drawn to larger-than-life, strange men. “They attach themselves to bizarre psychopaths like their father,” one researcher said. Ghislaine Maxwell has a degree from Oxford University, speaks four languages, and is a trained private helicopter pilot. She was involved in social clubs at Oxford and perhaps not surprisingly given her upbringing, has moved in high society circles her whole life. She has homes in several countries but largely resided in her...
That convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein preyed on young women is common knowledge. Less known is that he had a knack for taking advantage of older ones as well. According to John Connolly, the former Vanity Fair journalist and co-author of “Filthy Rich: The Shocking True Story of Jeffrey Epstein,” Johnson & Johnson heiress Libet Johnson — a Manhattan society fixture before her 2017 death at age 66 — lost untold sums to the billionaire, who died in a Manhattan prison cell last year. “She told people that he took her for more money than all of her husbands combined,” Connolly told The Post of Johnson, who wed and divorced five times. “Supposedly he was managing money for her and she lost a ton.” It is unclear how much of the funds actually wound up in Epstein’s pockets. But it’s been reported that a $22 million ski chalet was transferred to him by Johnson — who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease — and the financier was listed by her as a resident of her Madison Avenue home. He also used his relationship...
