Vice President Kamala Harris was mocked on social media Tuesday after making an odd introduction during an event, which included listing her preferred pronouns: "she and her." Harris also made a point of mentioning that she is "a woman sitting at the table wearing a blue suit." This was likely due to the nature of the event, which was marking the 32nd anniversary of the enactment of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The detailed description is meant to aid viewers or attendees with visual impairments. The Biden administration has become so “dysfunctional” that Americans are crossing the border into Mexico “because gas is cheaper there,” according to Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) citing Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador in talks with President Biden this week. Appearing on Newsmax’s The Chris Salcedo Show on Tuesday, Rep. Jordan touched on President Joe Biden’s recent meeting with the president of Mexico wherein he touted the “continued cooperation on migration” between the two countries.  In a joint statement released on Tuesday, the two leaders stated that the U.S. and Mexico “affirm our broad and deep cooperation and commitment to building a more prosperous and secure future for the people of North America.” According to Rep. Jordan, such cooperation is non-existent and “the whole country” is aware of the fact. “There is no cooperation,” he said. “What we have is an open border.” [email protected]_Jordan: "The Mexican President [was] talking about how now Americans are going across the border into Mexico because gas is cheaper there. If that isnt a picture for how dysfunctional, how bad the Biden admin. has been,...
Democrats have a swath of fiery leaders within their ranks, but instead of elevating their stars and ushering them to the podium, the Democratic establishment looks for any opportunity to throw them under the bus or ignore them entirely. Ninety-four percent of Democratic voters under the age of 30 say that they want someone other than President Joe Biden to be the party’s standard bearer in 2024—particularly one that isn’t going to be in their 80s in their next term. What could Democratic leadership possibly be thinking by marginalizing—rather than embracing the youthful base, and advancing to the forefront the fierce progressives in Congress? Last week, outgoing White House Communications Officer Kate Bedingfield said of Biden’s response to the Supreme Court decision that overturned Roe v. Wade: “Joe Biden’s goal in responding to Dobbs is not to satisfy some activists who have been consistently out of step with the mainstream of the Democratic Party.” President Biden was buoyed into the White House by a diverse coalition of voters who had had enough of Trump and Trumpism, and wanted their...
Far-left voices are offering less than celebratory Independence Day messages — from warning of “extremist voices” to urging Americans to sponsor Ukrainian refugees. While conservatives generally posted celebratory messages, reminding Americans that we live in the “greatest nation in the world” and to give glory to God, some on the left were less than enthusiastic. New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D), for example, used the day to warn Americans that liberties are still “under attack from extremist voices” — a likely reference to the Supreme Court recently overturning Roe v. Wade. Notably, Adams failed to mention that New York City itself stood as one of the most mandate-happy places in the country during the coronavirus pandemic, as local leaders stripped New Yorkers of their liberties with the implementation of vaccine passports and extended mask mandates. The fight for freedom that began in earnest on July 4, 1776 never ended. The work is ours to finish. Today, as our liberties are under attack from extremist voices, let’s recommit to that fight for justice and true freedom. Happy #IndependenceDay, New...
Americans for Prosperity-Florida (AFP-FL)  unveiled its 2022 Florida Legislative Scorecard Wednesday highlighting Florida’s elected officials who, according to AFP-FL, “championed solutions that will create more opportunity for all Floridians while standing up against harmful public policy change.” AFP-FL stated that the scorecard “lets you know which lawmakers have championed policies that empower all Floridians to realize their potential, help others, and achieve their version of the American dream. It’s a tool for activists, the media, and the general public to learn how each senator and representative has voted and hold them to account for their decisions.” According to the scorecard, 31 lawmakers scored an A+, 72 received an A, 35 received a B, 17 received a C, 3 received a D, and 2 lawmakers – Representative Jervonte Edmonds and Senator Perry Thurston – received an F. The Florida lawmakers to receive an A+ in 2022 are all Republicans. They include Senators Jim Boyd, Jason Brodeur, Danny Burgess, Manny Díaz Jr., Keith Perry, Ray Rodrigues, and Ana Maria Rodriguez along with House Representatives Mike Beltran, Cord Byrd, Michael Caruso, Nick DiCeglie,...
Republican Rep. James Comer says a bombshell voicemail between Joe Biden and his son Hunter revealed by DailyMail.com earlier this week is 'further proof' the president 'knew about his son's foreign wheeling and dealing'.   The Ranking Member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform also doubled down on his vow to give Americans 'answers about the Biden family’s pattern of placing profit over country' if the GOP takes back the majority in the House in November. DailyMail.com revealed on Monday that President Biden spoke with Hunter about his business dealings with a Chinese criminal his son dubbed the 'spy chief of China' Joe called Hunter on December 12, 2018 saying that he wanted to talk to him after reading a New York Times story about Hunter's dealings with the Chinese oil giant CEFC. Comer, who is set to lead congressional investigations if Republicans take over control form Democrats in November, has his sights on Hunter Biden and deems him a 'national security threat'.  'Evidence continues to mount that Joe Biden is the "Big Guy" and received a cut from his family’s...
Less than ten percent of Americans are following the January 6 committee’s hearings “very closely,” according to a new ABC News poll. ABC News, in conjunction with Ipsos, found that just nine percent of Americans are following the January 6 committee’s televised hearings “very closely.” The ABC News poll comes after the committee finished its first full week of televised hearings. The committee has held three public hearings, with four more on June’s congressional calendar. So far, the committee’s efforts have only made a six percent difference in the amount of Americans who believe former President Donald Trump should be held criminally liable for the January 6 Capitol riot. Although the committee portrays itself as “bipartisan,” ABC’s poll found the hearings are divided along party lines. For example, while 91 percent of Democrats think Trump should be charged with a crime for the Capitol riot, less than 20 percent of Republicans think so. Additionally, the two Republican members seated on the nine-member committee were handpicked by House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) after she rejected the nominees submitted by House...
Supporters of the new Democrat-led gun control bill that will make it harder for Americans to protect themselves “don’t believe in the Second Amendment,” according to Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), who blasted Democrats for banning firearms instead of addressing societal issues stemming from “decades of progressive left-wing policies that have assaulted the American family and American Society.” In a House session on gun control Wednesday, Biggs began by expressing his opposition to the Democrats’ latest gun control legislation.   The Democrats latest gun control bill mirrors the ineffective policies of blue cities that have the highest levels of gun violence in America. This bill is simply another attempt by the left to dismantle the Second Amendment and confiscate guns from law-abiding Americans. pic.twitter.com/FuzP8tM7jz — Rep Andy Biggs (@RepAndyBiggsAZ) June 8, 2022 “Supporters of this bill do not want to protect Americans’ Second Amendment rights because they don’t care about Second Amendment rights,” he declared.  Biggs, who served as chairman of the House Freedom Caucus, argued that central “societal issues” continue to go unaddressed as the focus remains on banning firearms. “Instead...
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) noted Americans’ broad disinterest in Democrats’ hyping of the events on January 6, 2021, on Friday’s edition of the Breitbart News Daily podcast with host Alex Marlow. Stafnik observed the political and media classes’ focus on Thursday’s primetime production of the House’s select committee hearing ostensibly investigating what it describes as “the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol.” She said Americans, meanswhile, are concerned with increasingly dire economic circumstances wrought by left-wing and partisan Democrat government pursuits. “While there may be a lot of coverage in the Beltway [and] in Washington, D.C., among media elites, the American people don’t really care when they can’t afford their grocery bills, when they can’t afford to fill up their cars with gas, because the price of gas has doubled, [and] when we potentially are facing food shortages.” Democrat and left-wing media hype of nonsense amounts to a “distraction” from harms they inflict on Americans, Stefanik held.
New York Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik's proposal is co-led by her fellow GOP Reps. Richard Hudson and Carol Miller. It's a counter-proposal to House Democrats' sweeping gun control proposals Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York on Tuesday unveiled a Republican counter-proposal to Democrats' efforts to pass federal gun control legislation in the wake of multiple back-to-back mass shootings. Rather than placing limits on the sale of weapons, the Firearm Proficiency and Training Act seeks to incentivize gun buyers to handle them safely. Gun owners would be eligible for a tax refund of up to $250 for taking a firearm safety course that 'is taught by a firearms instructor 20 certified by the State to teach such course,' according to the bill text. Certifications like conceal carry courses and classes to obtain a hunting license are also permissible. They'd also be able to get the tax benefit for purchasing a safe storage device for the firearm. Stefanik's bill is co-led by GOP Reps. Richard Hudson of North Carolina and Carol Miller of West Virginia.  'As Democrats rush to push their radical...
President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin arrive for a joint news conference after their meeting in Helsinki, July 16, 2018. Grigory Dukor | Reuters President Joe Biden made Russia's "blacklist" but former President Donald Trump didn't. Russia's Foreign Affairs Ministry on Saturday released an updated list of nearly 1,000 Americans permanently barred from entering the country, a largely symbolic slap in response to harsh sanctions imposed by Western countries for its brutal invasion of Ukraine in February. Biden since mid-March had already been banned from visiting Russia, as were Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and Army Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. But the updated list now includes Vice President Kamala Harris, as well as Biden's scandal-plagued son Hunter Biden, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, and Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state and first lady. Billionaire investor George Soros also made the list. Soros' philanthropic support of liberal causes, and groups in the former Soviet bloc, have made him a boogeyman for both Russia and right-wing conspiracy theorists....
Establishment media outlets are using the marketplace massacre in Buffalo to suppress public debate over the Democrats’ failure to guard the border, says GOP leader Rep. Elise Stefanik (D-NY). “There is nothing racist about [the public] wanting a secure border, there is nothing racist about opposing amnesty for illegals and giving illegals the right to vote,” Stefanik told Sirius XM’s Breitbart News Daily host Alex Marlow on May 17. Stefanik, whose district is North-East of the massacre in Buffalo, continued: It’s Democrats who for years have been advocating for giving illegals voting rights for political and electoral purposes. And now the [establishment] media, in their warped way, is somehow connecting border security and opposition to amnesty, somehow to this horrible tragedy in Buffalo. It’s shameful. The vast majority of the American people desperately want border security … And the fact that the media is going after border security and anyone who stands up — again, in opposition to amnesty and in support of stronger border security — it’s shameful. And again, the American people are smart: They see through this. It is...
"So I don’t think we’re going to see them," Porter concluded, "I don’t think it’s like about comparing them or contrasting them, I think they reinforce for people just how big of a responsibility it is to take care of a family." Porter also claimed in the interview that conservatives were going to ban all contraceptives after banning abortion, a widely spread conspiracy theory among Democrats. Here's the video of Porter's comments: Rep. Katie Porter: 'Rage' Will Grow Now That GOP Blocked Abortion Bill www.youtube.com
On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America Reports,” Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) questioned how there would be oversight of DHS Disinformation Governance Board Executive Director Nina Jankowicz when DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified that he wasn’t very familiar with her. Biggs stated, “I think I was surprised, as everyone else was, when this homeland secretary said he didn’t really know much about the person, Nina Jankowicz, who’s going to head this bureau that’s going to spy and target Americans. It’s amazing. It’s filled with all kinds of problems. It’s an authoritarian measure, number one. Number two, I think of it as a distraction from the border. I mean, we hear about it while we’re talking about border security issues. And the next thing is, why don’t we just trust Americans to assess whether something’s truthful or not? That’s really where we’ve always been, that’s what free speech was about, and this really is dystopian, George Orwellian, ‘1984,’ Ministry of Truth stuff.” He added, “[W]ho’s going to monitor the head of the disinformation bureau? Are we going to have to...
Friday on MSNBC’s “José Díaz-Balart Reports,” Rep. Mondaire Jones (D-NY) blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin and the GOP for the 40-year high inflation. Jones argued Putin’s war on Ukraine had made inflation “worse” and emphasized there would be “Republican obstruction” to overcome the high cost of living for Americans. “We have got to be very thoughtful and forward-thinking about all of the challenges of the future, even as we fight here, Democrats fight here, to lower the prices of gas and groceries,” Jones advised. “That is of the utmost importance because Americans, as they are watching what happens abroad, of course, are feeling in their daily lives the pain at the pump, the pain at the grocery store. Democrats have been calling out the major companies in this country for price gouging, for taking advantage of inflation. Of course, inflation has been made worse because of Vladimir Putin’s unjust war in Ukraine. And you will see Congress, Democrats in particular, continue to try to pass legislation and overcome Republican obstruction to make the cost of living for Americans, especially in...
Vulnerable New Jersey Democrat Rep. Tom Malinowski said during a recent town hall that he favors legislation to put a “responsible market price on carbon in the United States,” which researchers claim would cost Americans 36 cents/gallon of gasoline. Malinowski was asked during a recent town hall with the Sierra Club — an environmental activist group that supports far-left policies — if he saw “a path forward for carbon price, ideally with carbon cashback to all Americans.” The congressman, in response, said that he is “for that” and has been a cosponsor of legislation that would enact a tax price hike. “I think that’s the best way forward is a carbon fee, putting a responsible market price on carbon in the United States,” Malinowski said, captured in a video posted to YouTube. “A border adjustment fee, which is, in effect, the carbon tax for China and India, for the rest of the world.” He claimed that it would also “cost nothing” to the federal budget. Watch: The congressman implied that a “carbon fee” is the “best way forward” — a fee that researchers claim would cost...
The Biden administration’s encouragement of puberty blockers, hormone therapies, and sex-change surgeries for children who believe they are transgender is “disturbing and evil,” Rep. Mary Miller (R-IL) said during an interview with Breitbart News Saturday. The Trump-endorsed congresswoman’s comments were in relation to a recent PolitiFact “fact check” she faced after she criticized White House press secretary Jen Psaki for propping up “gender affirming” healthcare for children who believe they are transgender. “Gender affirming” healthcare is notably a far-left euphemism intended to make the mutilation of children sound like a compassionate course of action. LISTEN: “The Biden Administration is engaging in extreme ‘woke’ politics by encouraging children to take chemical castration drugs and undergo surgeries, and they are lying to children by telling them puberty blockers are ‘reversible.’ We must protect our children!” Miller tweeted on April 8  in response to a video clip of Psaki calling “gender affirming” healthcare for minors “best practice” and “potentially life-saving.” The Biden Administration is engaging in extreme “woke” politics by encouraging children to take chemical castration drugs and undergo surgeries, and they are...
On Friday’s broadcast of Newsmax TV’s “American Agenda,” Rep. and U.S. Senate candidate Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) stated that the biggest obstacle he’s had in his attempts to get Americans and Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders out of Afghanistan was the same Biden administration that has shown “they don’t care about the southern border.” Mullin stated, “I was…trying to get Americans out and SIVs in August, and my biggest hindrance was the State Department. It wasn’t even — I hate to say this, it wasn’t even the Taliban. It wasn’t Pakistan, Uzbekistan, or Tajikistan. My biggest hindrance getting SIVs and Americans out was our Secretary of State Blinken and that administration. And so, now you see that they don’t care about the southern border. I mean, you see right now we’re starting to get refugees from Ukraine. Because Ukrainians know that they can get across into the United States at our southern border.” Follow Ian Hanchett on Twitter @IanHanchett
Republicans blasted the Biden administration following reports that the nationwide mask mandate for public transit will be extended another two weeks. One lawmaker called the move “hypocritical,” while others highlighted the ineffectiveness of the mandate as well as the recent announcement of the lifting of Title 42 – a public health provision that serves as an essential tool in combating the spread of COVID-19 and controlling the influx of migrants at our southern border. Taking to Twitter, Republican officials expressed outrage over the reports: “Biden is repealing Title 42 to allow a flood of often unmasked, untested, and unvaccinated illegal immigrants from dozens of countries into the U.S… while mask mandates still remain in effect for the American people,” wrote Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC), who is also a physician. “This was never about science.” Biden is repealing Title 42 to allow a flood of often unmasked, untested, and unvaccinated illegal immigrants from dozens of countries into the U.S… while mask mandates still remain in effect for the American people. President Joe Biden was ripped on social media for Tuesday’s massive inflation numbers. The Labor Department numbers showed the consumer price index soared 8.5 percent in one year, the largest year-over-year increase since 1981. Biden’s inflation will reportedly cost consumers an extra $5,200 in 2022, or $433 per month. According to the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, inflation already cost consumers an estimated $3,500 in 2021, impacting low-income families the hardest. Democrats have refused to take responsibility for inflation. What was once called “transitory” inflation is now “Putin’s price hike.” Before that shift, CNN labeled  inflation “good,” but the Washington Post noted some reframe it as “corporate greed.” Since Democrats are desperately scrambling to portray those who criticize Bidens inflationary policies as standing with Putin, a reminder that this is Bidens press secretary: pic.twitter.com/zGWxRgq2dM — Spencer Brown (@itsSpencerBrown) April 12, 2022 Reactions to the inflation numbers held Joe Biden and his massive spending policies responsible for rising costs. On Thursday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “Varney & Co.,” Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) stated that the Biden administration “does not care about Hispanics” with its immigration policies and their approach to the border is a reflection of the elitism of Democrats, “where they’re in the ivory tower making decisions from Washington for the rest of the people instead of listening to others.” Gonzales said, [relevant remarks begin around 1:30] “Hispanic Americans are very similar to regular Americans. We want the same things. We want our families to be safe. We want our communities to be safe. We want our children in our schools to be not pushed these different ideological beliefs. We want the exact same things. So, in my district, predominantly Hispanic, we’re upset with this border crisis. I’ll also say this, we believe in legal immigration. We want legal immigration. We want a front door. What you’re seeing is this administration does not care about Hispanics or legal immigration.” He added, “What you’ve seen is the Democratic Party has turned into this elitist party, where they’re...
President Joe Biden and radical Green New Deal leftists “want Americans to suffer at the gas pumps,” Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN), Chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview on Tuesday. “There’s no doubt about it that Joe Biden is directly responsible for our currently high gas prices and they’re not going to get better,” Banks told Breitbart News. The national gas price average stood at $4.225 on Thursday, although it exceeds $6.00 in some areas of California. “They’re only going to get worse,” he said, pointing to the most recent Biden budget which includes at least $43 billion in new taxes “directly targeting energy companies,” which means “all of us are going to pay even more in gas prices than what we do already.” Banks’s remarks came on the heels of this week’s RSC memo, which details how Biden is keeping his promise to “end fossil fuel.” His constituents, Banks said, are upset by the price of gas, taking a hit every time the fill up their tank. However, the congressman said they understand...
PONTE VEDRA, Florida — Americans are sick of the politicization of sports, Rep. Roger Williams (R-TX), a former baseball star, told Breitbart News during an exclusive interview at the 2022 U.S. House Republican Issues Conference. Willams, a former college baseball star who was drafted into the MLB and now serves as the manager of the Republican baseball team, offered his perspective on “wokeness” infiltrating America’s long-beloved pastimes. “Sports is a big thing in America. I have a baseball background and you know, I’m upset when I see a lot of woke in anything, quite frankly. We’ve got a rich history. We’ve got some good. We’ve got some bad, but we learn by both,” he explained. “We don’t need to destroy it.” “And I think a lot of these players who are playing today, if they had any other job in the private sector, they wouldn’t be making anything what they’re making. A lot of them don’t understand the value of a dollar. A lot of them don’t understand how they got there,” he said. “And I think to the extent...
PONTE VEDRA, Florida — The American people are not buying President Biden’s excuses as he blames skyrocketing gas prices on Russian President Vladimir Putin and on oil and gas companies, Rep. Roger Williams (R-TX) told Breitbart News during an exclusive interview at the 2022 U.S. House Republican Issues Conference. “In Texas we know the answer because we’re the gas and oil state,” Williams began, noting that President Biden quashed American energy independence “from day one.” “The fact of the matter is, when he shut down Keystone Pipeline, he talks about green energy, he talks about electric vehicles, this is not good. It’s not going to happen and we have to be able to — all energy. I’m for all energy. I want competition,” he explained. “I don’t want to pick winners and losers. Again: Let the consumer decide. But he’s out there, he needs to take the blame for it because he did it from day one and people know it’s not Putin,” Williams stressed. “People know it’s not anything but the Biden administration and it gets back to the...
President Joe Biden’s deputies are taking $377 million from GOP-run heartland states to aid landlords in four Democrat-run states that use illegal migration to inflate their economies, according to a report in the New York Times. White House officials have already pressured governors in states to shift $875 million for poor renters into urban districts, the newspaper reported March 16, adding: Now they are going one step further, pulling back [$377 million in] cash from states with relatively few tenants — like Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming — or localities that failed to efficiently distribute the aid, including Alabama, Arkansas and several counties in Texas. The money, in turn, is being diverted to four states that burned through their allotted amounts — with $136 million in additional aid headed to California, $119 million to New York, $47 million to New Jersey and $15 million to Illinois, according to a spreadsheet provided by a senior administration official. North Carolina, Washington and other localities will be receiving smaller amounts. “This is better … But it’s a pitiful drop in the bucket...
The GOP is slowly earning the trust of most voters to handle immigration issues, according to a new poll by the Wall Street Journal. The March 2-7 poll asked 1,500 registered voters: “Between the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, who in your opinion is BEST ABLE to handle each of the following issues?” The GOP scored 45 percent on “Fix the immigration system,” which is up four points from 41 percent in November 2021. The GOP also scored 51 percent on the “Secure the border” question, level with the 52 percent it scored in November 2021. Trust in Democrats rose from 16 percent to a meager 25 percent on “Secure the border,” and from 27 percent to 30 percent on “Fix the Immigration System.” Still, those scores leave some voters with no preference for the GOP. For example, on “Fix the immigration system,” 7 percent of voters trust both parties, and 14 percent trust neither party. The GOP’s rising score for “Fix the immigration system” comes as the House GOP’s top leaders — including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy...
▶ Watch Video: Congress considers future of Daylight Saving Time Days before most Americans reset their clocks, a congressional committee is mulling changes to Daylight Saving Time. The House Energy Subcommittee on Consumer Protection heard testimony Wednesday from health experts, some of whom urged Congress to pass a new law keeping Daylight Saving Time in effect permanently. The biannual shifting of clocks, was initially implemented in the U.S. to preserve energy and resources during the early 20th century, requiring most Americans to set clocks one hour ahead of standard time between early spring and late autumn. In 2007, Congress expanded Daylight Saving by an additional four weeks each year. But the Daylight Saving system is unpopular with many Americans and has inspired a series of new state and federal legislative proposals to change or eliminate the program. “Daylight Saving Time has benefits and costs. The growing public interest in this topic and action on the state level brings us here today,” subcommittee chairwoman Rep. Jan  Schakowsky, Democrat of Illinois, said, “Some argue when we spring forward, and lose an hour...
Republicans responded to President Joe Biden’s first State of the Union address as his administration struggles with soaring inflation, confusing coronavirus messaging, surging illegal immigration, rising global influence of the Chinese Communist Party, and now, the possibility of a larger military conflict stemming from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday evening, GOP officials criticized President Biden’s first SOTU speech as president, highlighting his disastrous policies over the past year. “President Biden ignored that his agenda has completely flopped for American families: Raging inflation, open borders, crime,” wrote Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).  “The President did his best to try to pick himself up and provide some level of optimism but that’s not what the American people are feeling right now,” he added. Republican Study Committee (RSC) member Rep. Diana Harshbarger (R-TN) proposed a bill Tuesday that would allow citizens to sue the federal government as well as state and local governments that may jeopardize one’s job with harsh coronavirus vaccine mandates, Breitbart News has learned exclusively. Harshbarger’s bill would allow citizens who feel forced to take the coronavirus vaccines to bring civil actions for compensatory damages, including economic and non-economic damages, against the federal government and any state or local government that imposes a mandate that threatens one’s employment. Harshbarger said in a statement that Americans should not have to choose between their jobs and their employment, “The Biden Administration’s unconstitutional mandates forced many Americans to choose between their job or getting vaccinated. While this is wrong and never should have happened, those forced into vaccination should have full rights to pursue legal action if they are injured,” she explained. “My bill — the Protecting Americans’ Medical Rights Act — is a step in the right direction towards holding this administration and our government accountable.” “The Left forced Americans into medical procedures...
Rep. John Garamendi (D-CA) admitted gas prices could spike due to the tense situation in Europe, but called for an investigation into oil companies, which he accused of “price gouging.” The prices at U.S. pumps are already causing financial hardship for many American families. AAA reported that as of Monday, the average U.S. cost of a gallon of regular gasoline was $3.532. Meanwhile, in California, the average price for a gallon of regular is $4.741. While Democrats are already seeing political blowback from high fuel costs, the potential for Russian aggression has had some experts warning that Americans should expect to pay even more at the pump. Last week, President Joe Biden recognized that when he warned Americans that tensions in Europe could end up affecting them. Russian President Vladimir Putin took the first step toward violating Ukraine’s sovereignty on Monday. Russia recognized the supposed independence of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions in the eastern portion of the country. Russian troops are now expected on Ukrainian soil as part of what Putin has billed as a peacekeeping mission. When discussing the...
A U.S. Congressman is calling on Americans to own “sufficient” weaponry to overthrow the government, suggesting they should do so “if 30 to 40 percent agree” the nation is living under “tyranny.” “If 30 to 40 percent could agree that this was legitimate tyranny and it needed to be thrown off they need to have sufficient power without asking for extra permission – it should be right there and completely available to them in their living room in order to effect the change,” U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) said in a video (below) posted by Right Wing Watch. Congressman Massie, who recently came under fire for tweeting a quote by a pedophile-pornography possessing neo-Nazi and falsely attributing it to French Enlightenment philosopher Voltaire, appeared on far-right Youtuber Tim Pool’s show. Pool’s videos get “millions” of views each day, according to The Daily Beast, which adds he “has racked up more than a billion views and millions in earnings while dangerously whitewashing the far right.” Massie, known for his assault-weapons brandishing Christmas family photo this week was widely mocked for arguing...
President Joe Biden’s vow to put the first black woman on the Supreme Court continued to backfire this week when Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) accused him of “pitting Black women against each other.” During an interview with Punchbowl News, Bush was asked if the Congressional Black Caucus had come to an agreement on who the president should pick. While Judge J. Michelle Childs has been a floated favorite, Bush said that she would not comment on any particular person. “I’m not going to go after any particular person. I don’t know her. I don’t know her background well enough to be able to say so,” she told Punchbowl News. While Bush did not like that Biden’s pick would pit black women against each other, she acknowledged that the pick was necessary, though she listed some important qualifications: Getting a Black woman in the seat is necessary, but we want to make sure that it’s a Black woman who’s strong on criminal justice reform, has that type of history, strong on worker protections. I don’t have a name. I want the person...
Democrat-led states across the country have announced plans to drop their mask mandates in the coming weeks, and Republicans are claiming politics are at play.  New Jersey, New York, California, Oregon, Connecticut and Delaware have all announced plans to roll back their mask requirements just within the last day.     'I'd love to see whatever internal polling went around the Democrat Party last week - it's certainly no coincidence that Democrat-run states are dropping mandates as fast as they can!,' Rep. Kevin Hern, R-Okla., told DailyMail.com.   The Biden administration, however, still recommends indoor masking for schools and other public places. New York's Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul said she will allow the state's requirement that businesses either check vaccination status or require masks expire on Wednesday. California will soon lift its indoor mask mandate for vaccinated individuals, and Delaware and Oregon will also soon end their mask mandates. New Jersey and Connecticut are ending universal school masking policies.   Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker is expected to make a similar announcement Wednesday, sources confirmed to DailyMail.com.  In many of those states, school districts...

U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said capitalism was 'not a redeemable system' for Americans and represents a 'pursuit of profit' at all costs run by an elite minority.  The New York democratic socialist slammed the US economy during an interview with Yahoo Finance's Andy Serwer on Thursday, explaining that it was controlled by a small group of capitalist who make money and 'don't have to work.'  'They can control our labor. They can control massive markets that they dictate and can capture governments,' she said.  'And they can essentially have power over the many. And to me that is not a redeemable system for us to be able to participate in for the prosperity and peace for the vast majority of people.'   U.S. Rep. Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez said capitalism was not a system that benefited Americans ¿To me, capitalism¿ is the absolute pursuit of profit at all human, environmental, and social cost.¿ Rep. @AOC says. ¿What we¿re also discussing is the ability for a very small group of actual capitalists¿ [to] capture governments. ¿ That is not a redeemable system for us¿¿...
Republicans whined about last month's jobs report. Now, that the December totals have been revised up, they've been silent or dismissive. A month ago, House Republicans pointed to preliminary December jobs numbers as proof that President Joe Biden's economic policies were a failure. Now that they have been significantly revised up, the few lawmakers even acknowledging that fact are struggling to find a coherent response. The U.S. economy added a whopping 467,000 jobs in the first month of 2022, the Labor Department reported on Friday, despite the omicron variant of the coronavirus still walloping supply chains and disrupting workplaces. Economists surveyed by Bloomberg had predicted a gain of just 125,000, only to see the actual total nearly quadruple their forecasts. The report also noted revised December's job growth, from 199,000 up to 510,000. And November's numbers were increased from 249,000 to 647,000 jobs.  Though most GOP representatives simply ignored the good news, a few tried to find ways to dismiss it or to attack Biden and the Democrats anyway. Minnesota Rep....
In a recent interview, Amazon’s vice president of public policy, Brian Huseman, said that Amazon has “no plans to sell cannabis and that is not why we’re doing this,” reports the Philadelphia Inquirer. He continued, “We realized that it was a hindrance to our ability to hire employees.” Huseman indicated that Amazon’s primary focus with marijuana legalization is pushing for legislation to make it easier to hire people of color. Amazon has endorsed previous bills attempting to legalize marijuana sponsored by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D – N.Y.) and Rep. Jerry Nadler (D – N.Y.). Both of these lawmakers’ bills emphasized expunging nonviolent marijuana-related crimes from people’s criminal records. Notably, Rep. Mace’s States Reform Act is the first Republican-led marijuana legalization effort that Amazon has thrown its support behind. Amazon isn’t the only political powerhouse backing Mace’s effort, however. The freshmen representative also has support from the Koch family’s Americans for Prosperity group. The Americans for Prosperity chief government affairs officer Brent Gardner said that the organization is willing to spend millions of dollars “to make...
Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) wrote to Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Tuesday, expressing “extreme concern” over the Joe Biden administration’s plan to rescue Americans stranded in Ukraine. Budd wrote to Blinken as Russia amassed more than 100,000 troops on the Ukraine-Russia border and it remains possible there could be a conflict between the two countries. The North Carolina congressman noted the Biden administration has sent “mixed signals” about its plan to evacuate Americans. Budd explained: On January 23, 2022, the State Department issued a “do not travel” warning to Americans and urged those Americans in Ukraine to depart immediately. Also on January 23, the State Department ordered the U.S. Embassy staff to evacuate the country. That same day, however, the State Department reportedly told the press that, “Given that the President has said military action by Russia could come at any time. The U.S. government will not be in a position to evacuate U.S. citizens. So U.S. citizens, currently present in Ukraine should plan accordingly.” He said it is also “troubling” that the State Department and the White House...
President Biden’s first year in office will forever be remembered as the worst first year of any presidency in history. In a year of unprecedented self-inflicted disasters, President Biden has truly outdone himself in systematic failures at the expense of the American people. America now has soaring crime, a devastating border crisis, and a tragic fentanyl drug epidemic, not to mention the unforgivable withdrawal from Afghanistan, anti-American mandates, and fumbled messaging on COVID-19. The data couldn’t be clearer. At the end of 2021, President Biden had an abysmal 43 percent approval rating, with 53 percent of Americans strongly disapproving of his performance. One Quinnipiac poll last week put Biden’s approval rating at an embarrassing 33 percent. While some tone-deaf left-wing pundits may scratch their heads over President Biden’s plummeting voter confidence, it comes as no surprise to the American people who face the daily consequences of this disaster of a presidency. On today’s one-year anniversary of President Biden’s inauguration, here’s breakdown of President Biden’s year of broken promises, failed policies, and deprived performances. 1. The Unity President The greatest farce...
Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., was a guest on "The Ingraham Angle" on Tuesday night and spoke about President Biden’s poll numbers and the number of Democrats deciding not to seek reelection.  EVEN BIDEN CHEERLEADER JENNIFER RUBIN SAYS THE PRESIDENT ‘NEEDS A RESET’ REP. JIM BANKS: "It doesn’t get any better from here, Laura. I think it continues to get worse as this president, Joe Biden, and the Democrat Party refuse to acknowledge the pain the American people are going through—completely ignoring inflation, completely ignoring all of the other issues that are affecting American families and working Americans. I imagine these poll numbers will continue to get worse, as you said…two more Democrats announced today that they are not going to run for reelection because they can no longer defend the president or their own party. There’s 28 total. They see the writing on the wall. They know Republicans are going to win back the majority and they can’t defend it any longer."                  Rep. Thomas Tiffany (R-WI-07) and Rep. Mike Gallagher (R-WI-08) joined Rep. Debbie Lesko (R-AZ-08) in demanding answers from the Biden administration regarding the use of COVID funds to house illegal immigrants. Tiffany said, “Reports show that Biden transferred funds from COVID testing to cover the cost of housing illegal immigrants.” He continued saying that Americans deserve to know why President Biden is not putting them first. Reports show that Biden transferred funds from COVID-19 testing to cover the cost of housing illegal immigrants. Tom Tiffany (@RepTiffany) January 7, 2022 Tiffany, Gallagher and Lesko are joined by 13 other Republican legislators in sending the letter to Biden. The letter says the legislators are writing to “express serious concern” regarding the reports that say Biden diverted billions of dollars of COVID funds for housing illegal immigrants. “Due to your administration’s decision to prioritize illegal border crossers over the health of American citizens, there are now countless reports of millions of Americans across...
Friday on FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) reacted to Vice President Kamala Harris likening the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, to the attack on Pearl Harbor and the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Mast described Harris as “historically ignorant” and “tactically illiterate” for her remarks. He added that it sums up the “hypocrisy” seen from the White House since President Joe Biden took office. “I think she is just strictly historically ignorant, tactically illiterate. She has no reference point of any of this. When you look at making a comparison like that — there were bad actors on January 6 — nobody is going to deny that — but the tens of thousands of Americans that were there at the Capitol to exercise one of their five basic freedoms that America is all about — to assemble and to petition their government — to compare them to Japanese kamikaze pilots or Saudi Arabian suicide pilots, to make that comparison about patriotic Americans and to think, what? They were staging, you know, that was their launching point to stage...
Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (R-IA), Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), and 12 other GOP legislators are pushing legislation to help Fortune 500 companies hire foreign visa workers instead of hiring the American graduates who might vote for the GOP. Miller-Meeks, who won her district in Iowa by a mere six votes in 2020, touted her bill in a December 30 tweet: My America’s CHILDREN Act would support lifelong Americans like @uiowa‘s @PareenMhatre. They grew up here, went to college here, and positively contribute to our communities. I am proud to lead the effort to help these students. #YearInReview The bill — numbered H.4331 in the House and S. 2753 in the Senate — offers no compensatory gains for Americans, such as reforms to reduce the Fortune 500’s incentives to import foreign workers instead of hiring American graduates in states such as Iowa and Kentucky. “The antidote to a bad bill … is sunlight,” said a statement from Kevin Lynn at U.S. Tech Workers. The main sponsors, Rep. Deborah Ross (D-NC) and Miller-Meeks, “need to be exposed for being toadies to the corporations and not...
White House COVID tsar Dr Anthony Fauci has suggested that Americans could be forced to test negative before exiting the newly-shortened virus quarantine of five days, as the country braces itself for mass Omicron closures and experts. Fauci made his remarks in an ABC News interview on Sunday, days after the CDC halved the quarantine time for infected people from 10 days to five, for anyone who is asymptomatic or has not had a fever for 24 hours.  He said: '‘You're right there has been some concern about why we don't ask people at that five-day period to get tested. That is something that is now under consideration.  'The CDC is very well aware that there has been some pushback about that. Looking at it again, there may be an option in that, that testing could be a part of that. And I think we're going to be hearing more about that in the next day or so from the CDC,’ Fauci said. Fauci's latest remarks have seen him accused of flip-flopping on COVID yet again, with Americans given conflicting...
Fox News host Trey Gowdy invited Rep. Maria Salazar, R-Fla., on "Sunday Night in America" to discuss the changing political appeals of the Hispanic community. Recent polls have shown that Hispanics are now split evenly between the Republican and Democratic party. According to the Wall Street Journal, support for Republicans and Democrats are at an even split at 37%, with 22% responding that they were undecided.  MIAMI HERALD OP-ED SUGGESTS FLORIDA OMICRON OUTBREAK BECAUSE GOV. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and members of the so-called 'squad' applauded President Joe Biden's move to extend the moratorium on student loan payments - and encouraged him to go further. 'Thank you! Next stop: cancellation,' AOC tweeted, while her squad-mate, Rep. Ilhan Omar chimed in, 'Great, now cancel it!' The Biden admininstration extended the moratorium on student loan payments until May 1, which was set to expire at the end of next month.  Progressives have argued that Biden can unilaterally write-off $50,000 in debt for every borrower, but the president has been reluctant to do that with the strike of his pen.Biden has said he'd be comfortable writing off $10,000 of debt per borrower, but last week, press secretary Jen Psaki said the president wanted Congress to act. 'If Congress sends him a bill he's happy to sign it. They haven't sent him a bill on that yet,' Psaki said. Congressional Democrats are on board with debt cancellation. Beyond other squad members, Reps. Jamaal Bowman and Ayanna Pressley, a number of high-profile party members chimed in.  Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (left) and members of the so-called 'squad' applauded...
While Republicans are encouraging Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., to switch parties, Rep. Mike Gallagher, R-Wis., told "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday that the modern left is turning people off with authoritarianism. Gallagher said the left's demonization efforts may cause Manchin to leave the Democratic Party or decide to caucus with Senate Republicans.  GROWING NUMBER OF REPUBLICAN LAWMAKERS BECKON MANCHIN TO SWITCH PARTIES: ‘WE’D WELCOME HIM’ MIKE GALLAGHER: Well, I think it’s unlikely, it is Christmas, so anything is possible. But I suspect even Santa is not that generous to us. Maybe, the only thing that could convince him to switch or register as an independent and caucus with the Republicans, which is far more likely. Is if the left, the far left continues this relentless demonization of Joe Manchin. I was listening to your segment of Aaron Rodgers and, obviously, you know I represent Title Town U.S.A. here. I do think that illustrates just how authoritarian the modern left is right now and not open to free speech or dissent of any kind.  I think that relentless pressure turns off...
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) referred to Asian Americans as 'yellow people' at a recent event. For the second time this year, a conservative lawmaker used the outdated and offensive slur "yellow people" to refer to Asian Americans. This time, the comment came from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) at a conservative conference on Sunday, continuing a pattern of anti-Asian remarks from the GOP. "So I've never been to one of these events before," Greene said in a speech at Turning Point USA's "AmericaFest" conference. "I've heard a little bit about them. I've seen a little bit of this event, this type of event before." She continued: "And when I walked in yesterday, I was like, 'What kind of people come here?' So I'm walking around and seeing some good people and I see white people, Black people, brown people, yellow people." The Georgia Republican went on to mock the idea that the GOP peddles in white supremacy. "And then I said, 'Oh, oh, I know exactly what this is.' The...
US Rep. Maxine Waters was spotted without her mask on during a United Airlines flight - and a witness claims she kept it off for an entire hour - despite the mandatory mask regulations in place and the growing risk of COVID-19 as cases of the Omicron variant soar.  Waters, a California Democrat, was pictured on a flight from Dulles Airport, in Virginia, to Los Angeles International without her mask on and even took a nap maskless, all while flight attendants supposedly nagged other passengers to wear their masks, the Daily Wire reported.  'Attendants brought her fresh coffee while she was napping and didn't say a thing as three of them walked past and saw Maxine reading and then sleeping while she remained maskless,' the source who gave the Daily Wire the photo on Thursday said.   US Rep. Maxine Waters went maskless for at least an hour aboard a United Airlines flight. The photographer said the California Democrat was not asked to put her mask on by staff Experts and health officials warn that COVID-19 cases will soar in the...
House Oversight Committee Ranking Member James Comer (R-KY) told Breitbart News in an exclusive comment Tuesday that Democrats’ Build Back Better Act big pharmaceutical carveouts puts Americans last by driving up prescription drugs. Comer spoke to Breitbart News as the Senate considers the $4.9 trillion Build Back Better Act. The Democrats’ behemoth legislation, among several other leftist measures, would prohibit implementation of the Trump administration rule that eliminated rebates negotiated between drug manufacturers and pharmacy benefit managers (PMBs.)  The Trump administration rule was set to become effective on January 1, 2022, but the Joe Biden administration delayed implementation to 2023 as the Senate considers this legislation. Comer said the legislation would raise drug prices on Americans. “Democrats talk a big game when it comes to lowering prescription drug prices, but their Build Back Broke agenda actually increases costs for Americans,” Comer explained to Breitbart News. “President Trump took action to provide prescription drug savings to patients at the pharmacy counter, but Democrats are trying to repeal this commonsense rule. Why are Democrats putting the interests of pharmacy benefit managers first...
