OOPS, she did it again – flashed a nipple, showed a smidge of hip flexor and infuriated the patriarchy. After Britney Spears ground the gears of her dad (a man who happily sponged off his daughter for 13 years) now it’s the turn of her layabout ex-husband (a man who happily sponged off her fame for 16 years) to stick his beak in. 9Britney is 40 years old. He’s mum-shamed her. “The boys (Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15) have decided they are not seeing her right now,” Kevin declared, pompously. “It’s been a few months since they’ve seen her. They made the decision not to go to her wedding.” Still not done, strip-club-loving Kevin, until now not known for his Mary Whitehouse-like moral outpourings, suggested the teenagers were deeply embarrassed by...
Not for the first time in the Queen’s long reign, all eyes will be on the Buckingham Palace balcony at lunchtime today as the Trooping the Colour ceremony makes way for the ear-splitting roar of an RAF flypast. Over the years, this tableau has offered an engrossing glimpse of who’s in and who’s out, as once-familiar figures were shuffled to the margins of royal life. This time, however, the spectacle is set to be rivalled by another event, with far more riding on the outcome. For it will afford us the fascinating sight of Prince Harry and Meghan publicly reuniting with other members of the Royal Family for the first time since their frosty departure from Britain more than two years ago. It should also offer a view of their children: Archie, three, and daughter Lilibet, one on Saturday, who is set to meet her great-grandmother for the first time. Although her grandson and his children are excluded from the pageantry of the Palace gathering, the Queen has insisted they receive the same courtesies being extended to wider members of...
Today is the Queen’s 96th birthday. And what a present her grandson, the Duke of Sussex, has given to her! That he loves her can’t be doubted. In an interview with American journalist Hoda Kotb for NBC’s morning show Today, aired yesterday, the Prince was at pains to praise Her Majesty, especially for her sense of humour. He also laid claim to an exceptional bond with the monarch: ‘We have a really special relationship. We talk about things that she can’t talk about with anybody else.’ If true, his rare visits must be a boon for his grandmother. Yet for all his professions of affection and uniqueness during the interview, Harry couldn’t resist a dig at the Royal Family. That, of course, constitutes a dig at the Queen, who presides over it. Prince William 'cannot just forget' about his rift with Prince Harry and feels a 'constant strain' over the feud, a royal expert has claimed. Speaking to OK!, Duncan Larcombe - author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story - said the Duke of Cambridge, 39, and the Duke of Sussex, 37, 'both have a lot of regret' over their disagreements and feel like they've 'lost a best friend' but their 'stubborness' is preventing a reconciliation.  The brothers have been separated by a rift that is said to have begun in March 2019 when William reportedly threw Harry and Meghan out of Kensington Palace over the alleged bullying of staff, which has been denied, with the Sussexes breaking up their joint foundation and setting up a new office at Buckingham Palace.  The claims emerged in Robert Lacey's book Battle of Brothers, published before Harry and Meghan went on Oprah to accuse the Royal Family of racism and claim they were abandoned when the Duchess of Sussex was suicidal and six months pregnant. A new scandal is rocking the Spanish royal family after pictures showed Iñaki Urdangarin, the husband of Infanta Cristina, holding hands with another woman. The former handball player, 54, was seen on a walk with the woman, allegedly an unnamed co-worker at the Imaz & Asociados law firm, in a photo published by the Spanish magazine Lecturas.  Urdangarin married Infanta Cristina, the sister of King Felipe VI, in 1997, and the couple share four children. In 2018, he was sentenced to five years in prison for embezzlement and money laundering in excess of £4.5 million through his non-profit organisation, the Noos Institute.  Last year, he was granted permission to move to the Grade 3 Spanish prison regime, which means he only needs to report to prison once a week.   Speaking to the press this morning, he said the family would manage the situation with 'the utmost calm and together as always.' While the pictures came as a shock to the general public, sources told Hola! that Infanta Cristina was not surprised by the snap and 'already knew' about the relationship...
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are considering taking their children to the UK for Christmas, a royal expert has claimed.   Speaking to Closer, royal author Katie Nicholl said it is being 'looked at as an opportunity' that could 'pave the way for a healing of the family rift'.  The last time the couple spent Christmas in the UK was in 2018, seven months after their wedding, and Harry has only returned twice since stepping down as a senior royal in March 2020. Meghan has not been back to the UK since then. The visit would mark three-month-old Lilibet Diana's first time in the UK and would give the Queen a chance to meet her great-granddaughter.  Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are considering taking their children to the UK for Christmas, a royal expert has claimed. THE Royal rift between Princes William and Harry has been rumbling on for some time now. And now it’s been revealed the younger prince, soon to turn 37, was aware of what his future held from a much younger age.  ???? It occurred as the youngsters travelled from London to Gloucester for a weekend away. "Diana would always take the two boys to Highgrove in Gloucestershire,” he told Channel 5 documentary, Prince Harry: The Troubled Prince.  “On this particular occasion Diana was driving, I was sat in the front, William and Harry in the back," "They’d clearly got off to a bad start because they were arguing before...
The Obamas didn't invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Barack's 60th birthday party because 'they will go towards William' amid the family's rift, Prince Harry's biographer has claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did not attend the lavish do thrown by the former US president at his seven-bedroom £8million holiday home in Martha's Vineyard on Saturday. It included John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Meghan's friend CBS This Morning host Gayle King, George Clooney and Jay-Z and Beyoncé.  And according to royal expert and author Angela Levin, who wrote Harry: Biography of a Prince, it is thought that Barack and Michelle, 57, wanted to take a 'step back' from the couple out of respect for the Queen. 'I'm sure that if they say we can only deal with one brother and his wife — you cannot have both because they are so far apart now — they will go towards William,' said Angela, speaking to The Sun. 'The Obamas clearly always regarded Harry highly, but I am sure they can see through Meghan. They may stay around, but they won't...

Visit Insider's homepage for more stories. The Queen's youngest son Prince Edward has spoken out about the "very sad" rift between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the royal family.  Edward, 57, was asked about the Sussexes during a sit-down interview with CNN, given to commemorate what would have been Prince Philip's 100th birthday on Thursday.  When asked about the divide between the Sussexes and the rest of the family, Edward responded: "It's very sad. Weirdly, we've all been there before, we've all had excessive intrusion and attention in our lives, and we've all dealt with it in slightly different ways." "We wish them the very best of luck, it's a really hard decision....
PRINCE Charles and Harry are in "regular contact" sparking hopes that the family rift is finally on the mend after the birth of Lilibet Diana. Never has a royal baby arrived with quite so much anticipation – or with so much seemingly depending on her. Yet for a child whose destiny will almost certainly be far removed from the Crown, her influence over the long-term future of the monarchy and its well-being may be profound. And what an arrival! A great-grandchild of the Queen not born on British soil but in America, and named after the two women who, for vastly differing reasons, have had more influence over Royal Family life than any others for decades. A family divided: Harry and Meghan in Oprah TV interview Prince Harry’s decision to honour both his mother and his grandmother in his new daughter’s names is, of course, testament to the impact both Princess Diana and the Queen have had on him personally. Had he and Meghan decided to call Archie’s new sister Elizabeth Diana, their choice, one suspects, would have been met with warm approval. But by giving the baby the name Lilibet, the Queen’s private family nickname – even though they intend to use the...
If we could turn back time – by even a year – the sight of Princes William and Harry walking side by side behind their beloved Grandpa's coffin at his funeral on Saturday would have been both heart-rending and heart-warming. A nation would remember the day nearly a quarter of a century ago that these once inseparable boys followed in the wake of their mother Diana's coffin – united forever, we thought, in grief and loss and love. An unbreakable bond. Yet break that bond has. It has been shattered by Harry's swift and unexpected departure from his royal duties to live in the US, and by the incendiary interview he and his wife gave to Oprah Winfrey in California as 'Grandpa' lay gravely ill in hospital. There is hope now of reconciliation between William and Harry, with many believing that the duke's death will grant them the common ground to rebuild their once rock-solid relationship; that this funeral will bring Diana's once inseparable sons together again, just as she would have wished. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during...
PRINCE Harry must use his grandfather's funeral to heal any rift with his family "as speedily as possible", says former PM John Major. The Tory grandee added that "shared emotion" and "shared grief" was an "ideal opportunity" to build bridges. His comments came after Cardinal Vincent Nichols, head of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, suggested a coming together for Prince Philip's funeral could help heal any family tensions. It would mark the first time Harry has...
Piers Morgan has claimed that Princess Diana would have been 'horrified' by the rift between Prince Harry and Prince William, which he said has grown considerably deeper following the March 7 interview with Oprah Winfrey. Morgan, the Editor-at-Large of DailyMail.com, spoke to Tucker Carlson on Monday about the bombshell interview - which ultimately caused him to lose his job. The journalist and television presenter departed from Good Morning Britain on March 9 after saying he did not believe Meghan Markle's version of events, and being called racist for saying so.  Morgan said that one of the saddest things about the interview was the damage it caused to the sibling bond. 'I knew Princess Diana well and I think she'd be horrified by the split between Harry and his brother,' said Morgan.  Morgan said he thought Diana, who died in 1997, would be 'horrified' by the split between sons The journalist said he thought one of the saddest things about the interview was the family rift  He said he believed Diana would be appalled 'by the schism now between...
Only nine days ago, Meghan and Harry launched several bazookas in the direction of the Royal Family with the assiduous assistance of Oprah Winfrey, firstly on CBS in America and then on ITV. Tens of millions of people watched as Meghan alleged that an unidentified member of the Royal Family was racist, while Harry accused his father both of financial meanness and refusing to take his calls. Poor Prince William was said by Harry to be ‘trapped’. As family spats go, this was a humdinger. Many people on the receiving end of such public insults from close relatives might prefer not to talk to them for a fair while. But, to their credit, Prince Charles and Prince William did not sit roasting.  They appear to have picked up the telephone over the weekend to speak with hot-headed Harry. It seems they both love and care for him. And what was their reward? CBS presenter Gayle King – a close friend of Meghan, as well as of Oprah Winfrey – informed the world yesterday that Harry had spoken on the phone with...
Oprah Winfrey grilled Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their rift with the Royals in Sunday's bombshell interview - but made no mention of drama within the duchess's family.  The long-awaited interview produced a bevy of revelations about Meghan and Harry's struggles with his family - including how she felt 'silenced', became suicidal during her pregnancy with their baby Archie and how an unnamed relative questioned how dark the boy's skin would be.   Oprah kept true to her promise to ask the tough questions, repeatedly pressing the couple to clarify their claims and offer specifics.   But the talk show legend left one rather large stone un-turned as she failed to ask Meghan about her relationship with her own family, which has long been contentious.   Oprah Winfrey grilled Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their rift with the Royals in Sunday's bombshell interview - but made no mention of drama within the duchess's family  Meghan has been open about her contentious relationship with her father, Thomas Markle (pictured together) in the past - but was not asked to address...

Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard have been vocal in the past year about a growing rift between them and Jill's family, admitting they're 'not on the best terms' and have had some 'disagreements' — but for the most part, the rest of her family has kept quiet about the falling out.   But now, Jill's younger sister Joy Anna appears to have confirmed that there is some drama between them. Last week, Joy Anna, 23, liked an Instagram post from a fan account that criticized Jill, 29, and accused her of 'burning bridges' and 'not [behaving] very Christian' for airing the family's 'dirty laundry.' For many royal fans, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s one-year review since stepping down as senior members of the royal family was full of hope — hope that Prince William and Prince Harry would finally hash out their differences, for starters. However, after Her Majesty issued a statement confirming that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would not be returning as working members of the royal family and would lose their patronages, the couple pushed back with a strong (and slightly shady) statement of their own — and it might have strained the royal brothers’ relationship even further. The Queen’s statement that said it was “not possible” for Meghan and Prince Harry to “continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service” as non-working members of the royal family undoubtedly disappointed the duo, who have long committed themselves charitable organizations and volunteering. So, naturally, they rejected the...
The Duchess of Sussex's outspoken half-sister Samantha has finally released her tell-all book about their relationship and the rift that has torn apart the Markle family, promising readers that the 'truth is stranger than fiction'. Ms Markle's autobiography, titled 'The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister: A Memoir, Part One', is expected to heavily criticise Meghan for shunning her American relatives and what she sees as cutting off their father Thomas after he was unable to attend the royal wedding following a heart attack. Its publication is likely to cause anxiety for the Duchess, whose US media team has not commented publicly on its contents, amid claims the former Suits star burst into tears and was 'sick to her stomach' when she first heard Samantha was writing it. The book, released in the US via American bookselling giant Barnes and Noble, contains chapters called Queen Would be Appalled and Looking For Mr Right The Wrong Way. And the 330-page autobiography claims to expose 'hidden truths about her family' and Samantha's perspective on how and why Meghan's 'royal fairytale' turned sour. According...

After all, it was in Bradby’s 2019 documentary, Harry and Meghan: An African Journey, that Harry confirmed he and William had a difficult relationship (though would “always be brothers”), and Meghan revealed that no one—until Bradby—had asked if she was OK. The documentary laid bare Meghan and Harry’s unhappiness, and effectively lit the touchpaper for “Megxit.”
The 'long-term solution' to the rift between Prince Harry and Prince William is for the Sussexes to 'enjoy the freedom of America' while the Cambridges dedicate their life to duty, a royal expert has claimed. Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan Markle, 39, are currently residing in their $14million mansion in Santa Barbara with one-year-old son Archie, having stepped back from duty in March last year.   Speaking to Elle.com, royal biographer Robert Lacey said he thought 'there will be some sort of reconciliation' between the Duke of Sussex and the Duke of Cambridge this year.  But he said the brother's relationship is 'never going to be the same', explaining: 'I expect that is the long-term solution here: Duty in the form of William and Kate will take over the situation, and Harry and his love will enjoy the freedom of America and, I hope, obviously there will be some sort of reconciliation.' Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are growing further apart from the royal family because they 'do things their own way whatever the cost, while the Firm refuses to bend the rules’, a royal expert has claimed. MEGHAN Markle’s recent “softened” statements suggests that she wants to “heal the rift” with the royal family, an expert claims. Speaking to the Express he said: “I have detected, from Meghan and Harry's side, some signs of softening. He continued: "I think there is another dimension to that, that she realises the statements both she and Harry have put out there - about the US election, about racism in Britain - will be perceived as controversial. "And perhaps she ought to row back from that and try to stay away from controversy and I think that's a hand outstretched". 2Robert Lacey says she is aiming to stay away from...
Prince Harry and Prince William were once the closest of friends, there for each other through thick and thin, charmingly choosing to rent a cottage together while training to become helicopter pilots in 2009. “I do a fair bit of tidying up after him. He snores a lot, too. He keeps me up all night long,” William affectionately joshed about his younger sibling in a TV interview at the time. Just over a decade later, jokes are thin on the ground. With William in London, England and Harry in Montecito, Calif., there are 5,500 miles between them. They’re also in incredibly different head spaces. “The rift gets more serious with every passing day,” British historian Robert Lacey told The Post of the feud that caught fire after Harry and wife Meghan Markle quit the House of Windsor in March. “Battle of Brothers: William and Harry: The Inside Story of a Family in Tumult” (Harper), chronicles the ups and downs of the siblings’ relationship, which the author says is currently at an all-time low. “The chickens have come home to roost,”...

This would likely go unnoticed, but Rodgers’ brother Jordan is also a celebrity. So when the two celebrity brothers aren’t really seen together, people start to ask questions.
