PARK JI-SUNG is taking his first steps into management - but he might want to rethink his plans. The Manchester United legend has taken steps into coaching in England, by taking on a role with QPR's Under-16s. 15Ole Gunnar Solskjaer isn't the first ex-Man Utd star to be given his marching orders as a boss 15Park Ji-sung is the latest former Red Devil to go down the coaching routeCredit: Bradley Ormesher - The Times Many who played under legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson made a foray into management, however most ended up flopping. Although, there's one who was a major success... OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER THE super-sub was brought off the bench once again when things went wrong under Jose Mourinho. After a great start, he was given the job permanently. But a lack of trophies and with the side in dire straits earlier this season, he was regretfully given the boot. He didn't fare much better when he was manager of Cardiff, although did enjoy some success in his native Norway with Molde where he won the league twice and...
"Over time, Kanye has become more and more belligerent in how he tries to get Kim back," Noah said a the time, pointing to West's very public complaints about very private family matters as well as the music video featuring Kardashian's new beau. He added that while Kardashian and her family have always thrived in the spotlight, "There's an element of a woman saying to her ex, 'Hey, please leave me alone.' It touches on something that is more sensitive and more serious than people would like to admit, I see a woman who wants to live her life without being harassed by an ex-boyfriend or an ex-husband or an ex-anything." Noah continued, "You may not feel sorry for Kim because she's rich and famous, but what she's going through is terrifying to watch. And it shines a spotlight on what so many women go through when they choose to leave [toxic relationships]." He concluded, "What we're seeing here is one of the most powerful, one of the richest women in the world unable to get her ex to...
American female basketball players in Russia were completely unaware Brittney Griner had been arrested until they returned to America last week - ten days after she was locked up, DailyMail.com can reveal.  Griner, 31, is in an unknown Russian jail after being arrested on suspicion of carrying a cannabis-filled vape on her way into the country. She had just touched back down in Moscow from New York during a break from play from her Russian team, UMM Ekaterinburg.  Russian authorities have not confirmed the exact date she was arrested but it is thought to have been February 17.  Griner is one of dozens of international female basketball stars who go to Russia in their off-seasons to play for local teams. They are paid more handsomely but it's also a chance to keep themselves fit before returning to the WNBA.  After the war broke out, the US State Department issued an urgent warning to all Americans in Russia to get out.  All American female athletes heeded the advice. Were she still in a relationship with the sixth in line to the throne, Chelsy Davy's first born would have been celebrated around the world and introduced to the Queen within days. As it was, when Prince Harry's ex-girlfriend gave birth to her baby, Leo, in January, barely anyone was notified at all. Indeed, so under the radar was Chelsy's pregnancy that even the name of her partner, Sam Cutmore-Scott, was little known. Only last Saturday did the Daily Mail break the happy news that Chelsy had become a mother and seemed blissfully settled with Old Etonian Cutmore-Scott, who owns upmarket Norfolk hotel The Harper along with his family. And it speaks volumes that one of the first people baby Leo was introduced to was not royalty but the chair of Chelsy's local Norfolk parish council, who had been called to the Cutmore-Scott's home to address minor complaints about parking issues with Sam and his parents Jo and Mark, the hotel's managing director. 'We as a parish council met with the Cutmore-Scotts, with Jo and Mark and Sam in January,...
When the Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov made one of his periodic demands for a seat on the Arsenal board during his 11-year tenure as a major shareholder of the football club, its patrician chairman Peter Hill-Wood turned him down, but did offer him a consolation prize. Why not have a seat in the directors’ box instead? Miffed, but nevertheless keen to rub shoulders with Arsenal’s blue-chip board members, Usmanov requested three seats in the Emirates stadium’s holy of holies. When a mystified Hill-Wood asked why, he replied: ‘One for me, two for my bodyguards.’ The man who served six years in a Soviet penal colony as a young man after being convicted of fraud, corruption and theft of state property has always been a little rough around the edges.  And last night he became the latest Russian billionaire to be sanctioned by the foreign office over links to Moscow, three days after the EU did the same thing. Usmanov responded to the EU decision by insisting his businesses are ‘legitimate’, and described the sanctioning of him as ‘unfair’, adding that...
A black woman with vitiligo has revealed the cruel taunts she receives online - including from her own community who accuse her of 'bleaching' her skin. Iomikoe Johnson, 42, from Texas, now adores her 'unique' look, however this wasn't always the case - with the grandmother feeling suicidal when first being diagnosed with the skin condition, aged 25. And despite now thriving - with modelling opportunities being offered to the mother-of-four - Iomikoe revealed that she is still 'fixated on like she's an animal' by strangers and branded a 'Dalmatian or cow' by online trolls.  Keeping positive, the entrepreneur, whose body is 70 per cent covered with pigment-free patches, insisted: 'People with this condition are the most unique people on the face of this earth. A Southern California man was arrested after attacking staffers at a vaccination clinic last week, while calling workers 'murderers' and accusing them of causing the COVID pandemic, according to police and clinic officials. Thomas Apollo, of Poway, walked into the Families Together of Orange County mobile clinic in Tustin without a mask on, on December 30, and began abusing staff, police say. Things quickly escalated and the 43-year-old allegedly attacked two staff members, including Parsia Jahanbani and a medical assistant, both of whom had to be hospitalized. Multiple staff attempted to pull Apollo off Jahanbani, 37, a mobile operations manager for Families Together, and seven police officers were eventually needed to restrain Apollo, who was tasered three times, over about 15 minutes. The medical assistant, who declined to be publicly identified, was taken to the emergency room and returned to work Tuesday looking like 'a boxer after a fight,' said Alexander Rossel, chief executive of Families Together.  Apollo was arrested and booked into the Orange County jail Thursday for charges of battery and resisting arrest.  He was released Friday, records show, and is...

Gary Poste is said to have let alleged apprentice Chris Avery watch as he ordered another  unidentified boy to shoot an enemy dead after luring the unidentified man to a remote lake near his home in Groveland, California. The Prince of Wales is striding through the main hall of the Cop26 monster-summit, en route to yet another reception. His turquoise linen face mask (a gift from weavers in Myanmar) is fooling no one. People recognise him instantly and begin snapping away on their phones. TV crews and photographers latch on.  One or two delegates start exchanging a few words with the Prince and he is happy to chat, so I join in. I ask him if he can remember his very first public eco-utterance. ‘Oh yes, I’d just been asked to be chairman of a countryside committee for Wales and I’d seen this amazing scheme for trapping methane from a landfill site,’ he laughs.  People recognise him instantly and begin snapping away on their phones. TV crews and photographers latch on. The Prince of Wales is pictured with designer and sustainability advocate Stella McCartney ‘I made a speech trying to make people interested. Most notable is ex-Facebook employee Frances Haugen, who testified in front of Congress this week after revealing documents that showed the company is aware of the harm its products cause. Also this week, California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the Silenced No More Act, which prohibits employers from using nondisclosure agreement to muzzle complaints about discrimination. The timing was fortuitous for Ifeoma Ozoma, a former Pinterest employee, who's been spending much of her energy of late trying to create a safe space for tech whistleblowers. In 2020, Ozoma and another Black ex-Pinterest employee, went public with claims of discrimination and retaliation during their time at the social media company. On Wednesday, Ozoma launched a free online resource guide for tech workers who are considering making workplace complaints. After 10 days, Pablo Motos was again in charge of The anthill this Thursday. The novelty was that he did it as a duo with Nuria Roca, his substitute all these days in which he has been absent due to his positive for coronavirus. “I have left the seat at your height”, commented Roca, and highlighted all the accessories that the presenter has on his table: “Do you have your tissues, your pens, the Ventolin, your heater and a urinal?”. They both gave way to the advertising break at the same time: “We look like the Twin Melody”, they exclaimed with laughter. On the way back, both met to see how they had lived these days, one on the set and the other at home. “I need a lot of sincerity tonight because I am still very soft and I would like to interview you”, Motos told his collaborator. “The same thing happens to me, fifteen years interviewing everyone, you also have to let go,” she replied. Irene Jiang/Business Insider Chipotle, Uber Eats, and Hinge have joined forces to launch the "Cuffing Season Menu," a selection of items for two customers eating together. The "Cuffing Season Menu," however, is an affront to me, a person who has been single for more than a year. It reminds me, yet again, that I'm alone. It also suggests that I should be attempting to find love in the time of COVID-19, as if simply staying healthy and gainfully employed during a massive global pandemic wasn't stressful enough.  Moreover, the broader concept of "cuffing season" is foolish: why not just date whoever you want, whenever you want?
