In new surveillance footage from Gwinnett County, Georgia, law enforcement officers are seen taking the information and inspecting the clothing of two teenagers accused of shooting dead a star high school football player last week. Last Wednesday, Elijah DeWitt, a star receiver at Jefferson High School, was shot dead on his father's birthday while he and a friend waited for their girlfriends outside of the Dave & Busters at the Sugar Mills Mall in Lawrenceville, 30 miles northeast of Atlanta.  Both accused killers, Chandler Richardson, 19, and Kemare Bryan, 18, have been denied bail after being extradited from South Carolina, where they were arrested last Thursday on gun possession charges. Both are now charged with felony murder.  Investigators believe that Richardson and Bryan got into a fight with DeWitt before the shooting. They do not anticipate any further arrests in the case. Their Wednesday court appearance, at which a judge told them they were 'going to be here for a while,' came hours before DeWitt's funeral took place.  DeWitt, a standout wide receiver on his high school's football team, had...

Jared Kushner’s own mother asked him if he was colluding with Russia, the former White House official revealed to Newsmax on Friday. While discussing his new book Breaking History: A White House Memoir, Kushner was asked about the FBI raid of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property and whether he believed the former president could eventually be indicted. According to Kushner, it’s just “more of them trying to get Trump,” something he experienced when the former president was being accused of colluding with Russia. Kushner said his own mom asked him if he had colluded with Russia after reading numerous articles online and hearing former friend Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) telling everyone that her son was going to prison. “She’s reading articles online. Chuck Schumer and my parents, you know they used to be friends and we were Democrats and he’s going around the upper east side telling everybody that I’m going to be indicted. I’m going to go to prison because I colluded with Russia, which was crazy,” he said. His mother did not call him after the recent FBI raid,...
US Soccer star Megan Rapinoe last month urged President Joe Biden in a phone call to do more to secure the release of Brittney Griner from her detention in Russia. According to Politico, Rapinoe made the request when Biden called her to inform her she would be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom - the highest honor bestowed upon a civilian in America. When Rapinoe attended the ceremony at the White House on July 7, she wore a blazer with Griner's initials inscribed on the lapel. Griner, 31, was sentenced to nine years in prison in Russia earlier in August after being convicted of drug possession and smuggling. Griner brought vape cartridges with cannabis oil into Russia when she flew to Moscow to play basketball in the city of Yekaterinburg during the WNBA offseason. Biden denounced the ruling as 'unacceptable', with the verdict coming amid soaring tensions between the US and Russia over Ukraine. There have been numerous reports that Griner could now be involved in a high-profile prisoner swap between the two countries. Megan Rapinoe reportedly told President Biden to...
Comedian Bob Saget spoke candidly about his struggles with depression in an interview just eight months before he died. The actor, known for his role as Danny Tanner in the ABC show Full House, told Radio Rahim in May 2021 how he had a big ego as he rose to fame - but it was really a façade to mask his feelings of depression. 'I would have been medicated in today's world in my 20s for extreme depression - like carrying it around all the time,' he told Rahim's Til This Day podcast in an episode that first premiered Wednesday. 'I would also act out and I had a very bad temper and I would yell - I never hit anybody, but I would yell,' Saget admitted. 'It was upsetting to do that. 'And I would do that in relationships, I would do it with my ex-wife, I did it in almost every relationship I've been in,' he said, adding: 'Sometimes, alcohol would add to that.' The only thing that kept him going at that time, Saget told Rahim, was...

On Thursday, former House Speaker Paul Ryan weighed in on the state of the country under President Joe Biden’s leadership. Ryan told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” that voters thought Biden was going to be a”centrist” and a “common ground guy” but acknowledged “that’s not what he was.” He lamented that Biden “gave the keys” to the left. “[L]ook, Joe Biden and I have been friends for years,” Ryan outlined. “I think people thought they were going to get a centrist in office, you know, a common ground guy. That’s not what he was. He gave the keys to the left, the progressives. They steered the country far-left. They tried to go so far left on so many issues, and they didn’t have the majorities to do that. That’s what always confounded me — is they acted as they had these massive majorities with these leftwing ideas.” He continued, “Tax reform, it works. These policies work, so that’s the thing that I’m excited about. We actually put a lot of good policies in place that have proven to work. I mean, who...

Amanda Thomason, The Western Journal May 1, 2021 0 Comments Earlier this year, a young wheaten terrier was living his life in Arizona with his family. One of the well-known dangers of the area (besides snakes and heat) is cacti. Somehow, the pup managed to get a cactus needle embedded in his foot, and it ended up nearly killing him. “I stepped on a cactus needle and for whatever reason, it was not adequately cared for and became infected,” a post on the pup’s Instagram reads. “I developed a blood clot and unfortunately my leg cannot be saved.” The owners, faced with a hefty vet bill of over $12,000 and extensive care for the injured dog, had two choices if they couldn’t foot the bill themselves: surrender him in the hopes that a group who could pay for the needed medical attention would select him, or have him humanely euthanized. They chose to surrender their pup, and thankfully Wheatens In Need rescue came to his aid. “I was dangerously close to being euthanized today when WIN stepped...
