NFL star Aaron Rodgers is reportedly in a 'casual' relationship with model Mallory Edens - the daughter of Aston Villa and Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens. Rodgers and Eden are in some form of a relationship, with a source from People Magazine saying, 'It's more than friends, but it's casual. Nothing serious at all.  'He's not looking to rush into anything. It's low key for now. But it's definitely a very close friendship that is evolving. He's not going to do something as quick as Shailene [Woodley]. Live and learn.' This comes as rumors of Rodgers' retirement are swirling - with the 39-year-old quarterback just missing out on the NFL playoffs and seemingly wanting to hold on to the last jersey he'd worn this season. An ex-Marine who has worked to rehome some 170 stray cats and dogs from Afghanistan says he has had to flee Kabul over fear of attack after Prince Harry admitted to killing 25 Taliban fighters. Pen Farthing, 53, called Prince Harry an 'idiot' and said he had not thought through the security implications of his revelations in his new autobiography. Farthing made headlines in August 2021 when he desperately tired to rescue stray animals his charity Nowzad had rescued from the streets of Kabul. He succeeded in bringing the animals back from Afghanistan as UK forces evacuated the country, but clashed with the British government who called his campaign distracting. In his controversial autobiography 'Spare', the Duke of Sussex wrote that he had killed some 25 Taliban fighters while serving as a helicopter pilot in Afghanistan, and that he did not think of those he killed 'as people' but as 'chess pieces' that had to be taken off the board. Several high-ranking military veterans and experts have also blasted Prince Harry for his comments, with one former British Army Commander,...
JOSKO GVARDIOL isn't short of options when it comes to choosing his next club as Chelsea and Tottenham battle for his signature. The RB Leipzig defender has been long sought after by Premier League clubs after his breakthrough year last season. 1Josko Gvardiol was an important part of Croatia's bronze medal winning side at the World Cup.Credit: Getty Now after playing a crucial part in Croatia's third place finish at the World Cup, the 20-year-old's already hefty price tag has since increased further. Chelsea seemed favourites to finalise a move for the highly rated centre back yet it seems as though London rivals Tottenham could swoop in and steal the deal. According to Bild, the competition from Spurs hasn't deterred the Blues with Graham Potter's side still keen on Gvardiol. The London sides will need to empty their pockets if they want their man however, with Gvardiol signing his allegiance to RB Leipzig until 2027 last September. The contract states that a release clause of £112million will become active in 2024, meaning Leipzig will be asking for even more before...

The winner of Argentina vs Croatia will meet the winner of France and Morocco in the final on Sunday. The losers though as a punishment for getting so far and falling short is to hang around until Saturday to play for third place. It's the cruelest match in sport, surely? 15:00 Now we are down to the final four And I don't just mean four teams, that's also the amount of matches left (including that pesky third-place play-off) in what has been a fascinating World Cup, which on the pitch has certainly delivered the goods. Granted, many of you may still be sore over England's exit but we have a couple of excellent semi-finals on the way today and tomorrow, starting with Argentina vs Croatia. Welcome to our live coverage of all the action as it happens....
THE FA are open to appointing a foreign England manager if Gareth Southgate decides to walk away, according to reports. The Three Lions produced an impress display in their World Cup quarter-final with France on Saturday, but ultimately came up short in a 2-1 defeat. 2Gareth Southgate says he needs time to decide his future with EnglandCredit: Getty 2Thomas Tuchel has been linked with the England jobCredit: Getty After the match, Southgate, who has been in charge since 2016, insisted he needed time to consider his future following the Qatar exit. His comments have left many speculating about his possible departure - with talks set to take place in the coming weeks. The FA are extremely keen for Southgate to lead the national team into Euro 2024. But if that plan is scuppered, The Mail understand they would be willing to consider appointing a non-English head coach. Former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is the bookies' favourite to succeed Southgate, with ex-Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel also linked. That is because the two English coaches widely regarded as the current best -...

Now in his fourth campaign in Italy’s capital, Smalling is widely regarded as one of the league’s top centre-backs. And boss Jose Mourinho was left speechless when the ace was not selected by Gareth Southgate for England’s World Cup squad in Qatar. However, the Special One could soon be bidding farewell to Smalling. The veteran’s contract is up at the end of term, and he is yet to respond to a new two-year offer from Roma. Les Bleus boss Didier Deschamps only capped the 24-year-old forward for the first time three months ago. 1Randal Kolo Muani started France's clash with Tunisia at the World CupCredit: Getty But after featuring against Austria and Denmark in the Nations League in September, Kolo Muani was talked up as a potential option to go to the World Cup. He has had a stellar season with Eintracht Frankfurt, contributing eight goals and 11 assists in 23 appearances. And while he failed to make France's original 26-man squad for the tournament, he ended up going to Qatar as a replacement for the injured Christopher Nkunku. He subsequently started the 1-0 group stage loss to Tunisia and could feature against England in the quarter-finals on Saturday. His rise from Nantes reject to World Cup international has been a rapid one - and it does not appear to be stopping here. This phenomenon has a name.Nonresponse biasOne of the leading theories accounting for why pollsters got it so wrong in recent years is an error called nonresponse bias, where the people who respond to a survey differ greatly from those who have not responded. Even when the overall share of a certain group (e.g., Republicans) in a survey sample is more or less correct, it may not provide a realistic overall picture, particularly not if a prominent and enthused subgroup (e.g., Trump supporters) is underrepresented. For instance, if only Romney Republicans were answering the phone in 2016, then pollsters' sense of Republicans' intentions and chances would likely have been skewed. The Pew Research Center reported that this is a hard problem to fix: "Just getting the overall share of Republicans in the poll correct may be insufficient if those who are willing to be interviewed are bad proxies for those who are not willing ... in which case a weighting adjustment within partisan groups may be needed." Claudia Deane, executive vice president of the Pew Research Center, told...
Most Americans do not want to see Joe Biden run for reelection, another dire poll shows just three weeks before the midterms – and Democrats are split on whether they want to see the incumbent as their candidate in 2024. Sixty percent of American voters overall do not want another four years of Biden after his first term, a Rasmussen Reports poll reveals. On the other hand, only 26 percent – just over one-fourth – of voters say they want to see him run again, while 14 percent of respondents say they are unsure. The survey was conducted October 12-13 among 1,000 likely U.S. voters. When the Democratic respondents were taken into consideration, there was only a 4 percent margin between those who said they want to see another Biden run compared to those who do not want him on the ballot. Forty percent of Democratic voters don't want Biden running for reelection and 44 percent of this voting bloc feel the opposite – while another 16 percent of Democrats are unsure on the matter. The Queen looked a picture of happiness today as she continues her 96th birthday celebrations with friends and family at Sandringham amid the ongoing tribulations involving her grandson Prince Harry. Wearing sunglasses and a trademark headscarf, Her Majesty grinned and chatted as she headed out into the Spring sunshine on her Norfolk estate. The monarch is taking the time to see her horses as they prepare for the flat racing season including the Epsom Derby in June, which she hopes to attend during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.  It came as it emerged she and Prince Harry's father Prince Charles are both very 'keen' for him, his wife and children to jet in from California to mark the Queen's 70 years on the throne. Buckingham Palace is said to have promised the Sussexes full armed security at all Royal Family events in June in a bid to reassure them after Harry said he felt 'unsafe' in Britain. Kellie Jay Keen, a British Women’s Rights activist working to address the transgender absurdity across the United States, confronted a man who claimed to be a “mother” at the NCAA swim finals, explaining to him that his usage of female spaces makes women uncomfortable. “On the basis of the comfort and dignity of girls and women, I’m asking you, telling you, please do not use women’s spaces. It makes them feel uncomfortable,” Keen, who has attended women’s rights protests in various states in recent weeks, told transgender activist Dawn Ennis. It is of particular note that this occurred at the NCAA swim finals, where Lia Thomas, a biological male, has been able to smash records and take the space of female athletes. “My girls and the other women I am with are very comfortable with me in the bathroom and locker room,” Emmis, who has reportedly lived as a male the vast majority of his life, replied. Visit Insider's homepage for more stories. Dating apps like Tinder and Bumble often get a bad reputation for creating shallow connections based on looks rather than deeper emotional compatibility.  But a new study published in PLOS One found couples who meet via dating app actually form a deep bond — perhaps deeper than people who meet by chance in person.
