A man says he saw Dwayne Haskins walk into traffic with his arms raised minutes before the NFL player was fatally struck by a dump truck on a Florida highway on Saturday. Chris Stanley, who was on his way back from dropping off his daughter at the Fort Lauderdale airport, says he was so shocked that he called 911. He remembers cars drifting into his lane to avoid hitting the 24-year-old quarterback. 'He was about halfway to a quarter way in the right lane, already onto the highway, and I was already concerned that somebody was going to strike him right there at that moment,' Stanley told WTVJ. He called 911 at 6.31am, according to a call log shared with the station. That's six minutes before the Florida Highway Patrol says the accident was reported at 6.37am. Authorities have not confirmed Stanley's alleged sighting and are still investigating Haskins' mysterious death.  On Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter apologized for breaking the news of Haskins death by tweeting that the athlete 'struggled to catch on with Washington and Pittsburgh. The apology came after former...
Antonio Brown has peaced out. Midway through the third quarter of the Jets game against the Buccaneers, the receiver decided he was done being on the field at MetLife Stadium. The Bucs were down 24-10 and the Jets offense started its next drive on third-and-seven, when Brown seemed to snap. The seven-time Pro Bowler wasn’t even on the field. He was on the sideline. It’s unclear what specifically caused Brown’s outburst, but as normal as the Bucs sideline seemed, there was Brown suddenly pulling off his jersey and his pads. Fellow receiver Mike Evans saw what Brown was starting to do and went over to talk to him, seemingly trying to tug his jersey back on. But there was no talking Brown out of his decision. After he tossed his jersey and pads to the side, Brown proceeded to make his way back down the sideline to the tunnel, tossing off his undershirt and gloves into the stands on the way. As he reached the opposite endzone from where the game was carrying...

Piers Morgan admitted in a column published Wednesday that he was “gutless and cowardly” for walking off the set of “Good Morning Britain” after being criticized by a fellow presenter. Hours later, “Good Morning Britain” announced that he had permanently left the show. In a column for the Daily Mail, Morgan criticized Simone Biles for quitting two gymnastics finals at the Olympics, but also admitted his own fault in leaving “Good Morning Britain.” “Sorry if it offends all the howling Twitter snowflake virtue-signallers, but I don’t think it’s remotely courageous, heroic or inspiring to quit,” Morgan wrote of Biles. *NEW COLUMN* Sorry Simone Biles, but there’s nothing heroic or brave about quitting because you’re not having ‘fun’ – you let down your team-mates, your fans and your country.https://t.co/gxNC7kOMN2 pic.twitter.com/eIlZsqqRHo — Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 28, 2021 “What happened to me exposed the ludicrous hypocrisy at the heart of the social media quitter-lovers. Matt Siegel of KISS 108’s "Matty in the Morning" told listeners Thursday that he had "snapped" a day earlier when told to stop poking fun at Lovato, who now identifies as non-binary and uses "they/them" pronouns.
