LIZ Truss yesterday pushed forward with a 'Brexit Freedoms Bill' which will see all Brussels rules repealed or replaced by the end of 2023.

It will mean ministers have the power to tear them up completely or replace them with whole new ones - if they see fit.

Around £1billion of red tape rules is expected to be scrapped initially in a bid to help businesses and boost the economy.

Business Secretary Jacob Rees-Mogg hailed Sun readers last night for giving him a heap of ideas of which barmy EU rules to put in the bin.

And he promised he would do all he could to make the lives of Brits easier and better.

He told The Sun: "When the United Kingdom made the historic decision to leave the European Union in 2016, we voted to take back control of our borders, our money and our laws.

“The Brexit Freedoms Bill will end the special status of EU law in the UK’s legal system, meaning we can easily amend or remove outdated laws that have - until now - been a burden on businesses and workers across the country.

“I want to thank the thousands of The Sun readers who sent me excellent suggestions of EU laws we should rip up to help British businesses innovate and invest.

"I will use my powers as Business Secretary to tailor our country’s laws to make the lives of British people easier and better – that is the real Brexit bonus.”

2023 NFL mock draft: Atlanta Falcons get their franchise QB at No. 1 overall

The 2022 NFL season has hit Week 2, which means it is time for our weekly 2023 NFL mock drafts, and here, Atlanta gets their franchise quarterback.

With two weeks of the 2022 NFL season in the books, the time has come to take a look at what the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft could look like. Needs are already apparent for many teams, including those looking for their first win, and here is our first mock of the season.

Here is our latest 2023 NFL mock draft, with the order courtesy of

2023 NFL mock draft: Atlanta Falcons get their franchise QB at No. 1 overall 1 CJ Stroud QB, Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons made the move for Marcus Mariota this past offseason after Matt Ryan made his way to the Indianapolis Colts. Through two games, Mariota still looks like more of a backup than a starter, which means the Falcons could be in play for a quarterback next offseason as well, especially if they land the No. 1 overall pick.

Right now, you could flip a coin as to which quarterback in the 2023 class you would rather have, be it, CJ Stroud, or Bryce Young. For now, we like Stroud to be the top pick, and even if learns under Mariota for a season, he still gives Atlanta a long-term solution at the most important position in sports.

2 Will Anderson Edge, Tennessee Titans

Last season, the Tennessee Titans were the No. 1 seed in the AFC, playing their way to the top spot despite not having star running back Derrick Henry for a chunk of the season. This year, Henry is healthy, but the team is struggling in a big way, and recently gave up 40-plus points to the Buffalo Bills at home.

On defense,  the Titans look to be in big trouble, and with a franchise quarterback waiting in the wings in Malik Willis, they can turn their attention to that side of the ball with pick No. 2 overall. That pick is Will Anderson from Alabama, a player many feels is the best overall player in this draft class, and someone Mike Vrabel would love to have on his defense.
