Fans are absolutely losing it over Rob Manfred being asked to sign a baseball.
No, you’re not seeing things. Someone asked Rob Manfred to sign a baseball.
But, it was a kid who probably has no clue he just handed his ball to the devil, so let’s just cut him some slack.
Im calling it: this was staged. pic.twitter.com/bKRd0tTfMQ

The fans on Twitter were not happy to see it … and can you blame them?
Fans ripped Rob Manfred on TwitterHere are some of the reactions on social media.
“He’s pointing out if it’s a dead or homerun ball. And of course ego pointing to his own dmn name on the ball,” someone wrote on Twitter.
“His signature already on the ball tho,” another fan pointed out.
“It’s on eBay already, Manfred took it back after the camera moved away,” someone joked.
“Said the same thing what real baseball fan wants that a**holes autograph???” another fan wrote.
“I don’t know, a Manfred/Pete Rose co-signed ball would be pretty funny,” someone said.
No matter the event, even Manfred can’t destroy the nostalgia of the Field of Dreams game, no matter how hard he tries.
