People living in one of seven states can pocket some extra cash once payments go out before the end of the month.

The cash payments will be sent to anyone living in Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Minnesota, and New Mexico. The range of these payments will be anywhere from $100 to $750, depending on the state.

Some people will receive their payments due to a budget surplus in their state, while others will be given the extra cash due to being foster families or front-line workers.

CNN PROFITS ON TRACK FOR LOWEST LEVEL IN YEARS AMID RATINGS CRASH: REPORT

Delaware

The state of Delaware began sending “relief rebate” payments of $300 to taxpayers who filed a return in 2020 due to a budget surplus.

The Delaware Department of Finance issued one-time payments of $300 to people who already filed their 2020 Delaware resident personal income taxes by the due date, and throughout the summer, payments have been made to adults who filed 2021 tax returns, the department stated.

Florida

Gov. Ron DeSantis announced in July that 59,000 low-income families would qualify for one-time payments of $450 per child. The payments would be distributed through the Florida Department of Children and Families to residents who receive one of the following services through the department: temporary cash assistance, relative/nonrelative caregiver funds, or if they have an adoptive and/or foster child in their home, according to Newsweek.

Families who qualify for the payments do not have to apply to receive them, as they are automatically mailed out.

Georgia

Gov. Brian Kemp signed legislation in May to give out rebate payments of $250 for single filers, $375 for heads of household, and $500 for those filing jointly. The Georgia Department of Revenue has been giving out these rebates since May, but the agency has been anticipating delays due to the number of refunds, the department stated.

The department planned to issue all the refunds by early August for returns filed by April 18. A filer will not have their refunds issued to them until their 2021 tax return has been processed.

Hawaii

People whose income was under $100,000 in 2021, or $200,000 for joint filers, will receive $300 tax rebates, and dependents are also eligible for the rebate. People making more than $100,000, or $200,000 for joint filers, will receive one-time $100 checks, according to the Hawaii Department of Taxation.

The payments will be mailed out as soon as late August.

Indiana

Indiana began sending $125 payments to all residents in May, regardless of their level of income. The payments are part of the state's automatic taxpayer refund law, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Minnesota

Front-line workers who applied for a stimulus payment before July 22 could qualify to receive a one-time payment of $750. A worker must have worked at least 120 hours from March 15, 2020, to June 30, 2021, in one or more front-line jobs to qualify for the payment, according to CBS News.

New Mexico

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham approved a measure earlier in 2022 that would give people in the state who earn less than $75,000 a year a $250 rebate and a $500 rebate for everyone in the state. The $250 rebates were issued in July while the $500 rebates were sent in two payments, one in June and the other sometime this month.

Caleb Williams pushes USC past Notre Dame and into perfect Playoff position: CFB media reacts

The USC Trojans are now in good shape to make the College Football Playoff after quarterback Caleb Williams helped lead them to a 38-27 win over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Saturday.

Last week, the USC Trojans showed that they should be under consideration for the College Football Playoff after their thrilling win over the UCLA Bruins, thanks to a Heisman-worthy performance by quarterback Caleb Williams. In the process, they officially clinched a spot in the Pac-12 Championship Game. This week, however, they wanted to prove that they were College Football Playoff worthy.

They accomplished just that.

Facing a Notre Dame Fighting Irish team that the Playoff selection committee values so highly, the Trojans picked up a relatively easy 38-27 victory behind a four-touchdown performance by Williams. With this, and the losses by Ohio State and LSU on Saturday, USC is in great position to make the Playoff.

College football media shared their thoughts on USC’s College Football Playoff odds.

USC’s win over Notre Dame strengthens CFP case: College media reacts

USC beats Notre Dame and will play for both the Pac-12 championship and a CFP berth on Friday.

Still a lot of football to be played next week but a potential No. 1 UGA vs No. 4 USC matchup with the Dawgs D trying to contain Caleb Williams and those Trojan receivers sounds like a lot of fun.

#USC won FOUR games in 2021.

A year later is it one win away from the College Football Playoff, led by the projected 2022 Heisman winner.

Crazy.

The Heisman is now a 2 man race.
Caleb Williams and Max Duggan.
The Transfer who helped a gaggle of Transfers bring USC back.
The Quarterback who started the year as QB2 after being a 3 year starter, but never wavered and came back to lead TCU to 12-0.
FASCINATING STORIES.

Williams set the tone on the opening drive, needing just 10 plays to put the Trojans on the board first on an 11-yard touchdown pass to Tahj Washington. Then, right before halftime, Williams ran for a five-yard touchdown and hit the Heisman pose to give USC a 17-7 lead.

From there, the Trojans continued to pull away from the Fighting Irish, as Williams ran for two more touchdowns on the night. His three rushing touchdowns are his most in a game this season.

Williams completed 18-of-22 pass attempts for 232 yards and the touchdown pass to Washington.

This win is incredibly helpful for USC. The Ohio State Buckeyes were blown out 45-23 by the rival Michigan Wolverines and will likely tumble down the rankings. Then there was LSU, the No. 5 ranked team over USC, were embarrassed in a 38-23 Texas A&M Aggies.

As long as the Trojans win the Pac-12 Championship Game on Friday, Dec. 2, they stand a good chance of making the Playoff for the first time.
