D.C. Police say that two adult victims were discovered at the scene of a crash along Minnesota Avenue and Hunt Place in Northeast.
Officers first confirmed the crash just after 6 p.m. with “multiple pedestrians struck.

The department said that the two victims died at the scene.
Police have not identified the victims or the cause of the crash and the investigation is ongoing.
A news conference will be held in the area in the following hours.

At least one injured in shooting near Dupont in DC
At least one person was shot in Washington, D.C., Thursday evening near Dupont Circle, according to a preliminary report from the Metropolitan Police Department.
An adult male victim was found unconscious and not breathing before being transported to a nearby hospital, a spokesperson for the MPD told the Washington Examiner.

The spokesperson emphasized that available information on the shooting was preliminary and he was unable to provide the exact location where it took place. He said the information just came out around 9:32 p.m. local time.

One user on Twitter claimed a friend said at least four bodies were found on the ground between Connecticut and Florida Avenues.
