UFC 276 saw Maycee Barber defeats Jessica Eye in Eye’s last fight.
Maycee Barber extended her win streak at UFC 276, grinding out a close victory over Jessica Eye, in what would end up being Eye’s last fight in MMA. Barber and Eye spent most of the fight in the clinch against the cage and while Eye was able to get Barber on the ground during the bout, it was the dirty boxing skills of Barber and some well-placed elbows that gave her the unanimous decision victory.
While Barber did win, her aggressive streak and pop still aren’t close to where they were at for her prior to her torn ACL. She’s still a good fighter, but one has to wonder if she’s going to be fighting deep into fights now, or if she can find her way back to finishing opponents.
Congratulations @JessicaEvilEye on a great career ????

Jessica Eye calls it a career at UFC 276
Eye walks away from the UFC and MMA with a record of 15-11 and going just 5-10 over her last 15. Stomach issues made it hard for her to not only take damage to the body but also caused her problems cutting weight. Now at 35 years old, riding a losing streak of four fights and missing a gallbladder, Eye has chosen to call it a career.

DWCS Week 3: Bo Nickal vs. Zachary Borrego live results, contract winners
DWCS Week 3: Bo Nickal vs. Zachary Borrego results and UFC contract winners.
Following a spectacular Week 2 which resulted in 5 UFC contracts, Week 3 of Dana White’s Contender Series will look to continue the furious momentum. DWCS Week 3 features five action-packed bouts, headlined by middleweights Bo Nickal (1-0) vs. Zachary Borrego (3-0).
The opening fight is a women’s strawweight battle against Sandra “Peruvian Zombie” Lavado (10-2) and Karolina “Polish Assasin” Wójcik (8-2). Lavado is a submission artist who Tapology ranks as the No. 1 active Peruvian female fighter. She faces a formidable opponent in Wójcik, who is ranked as Tapology’s No. 2 Polish pound-for-pound woman.
The second fight of the night is a flyweight clash between Edgar “Pitbull” Cháirez (8-3) and Clayton “Concrete” Carpenter (5-0). In this bout, Carpenter will look to extend his undefeated record to six wins against a top Mexican flyweight prospect, Cháirez. With the UFC flyweight division looking for new blood, a strong performance in this bout could likely result in a contract being awarded to the victor.
The third fight of DWCS Week 3 sees featherweights “King” Erik Silva (8-1) vs. Anvar “The Uzbek” Boynazaraov (3-0). Although Boynazarov only has three pro-MMA fights under his belt, as opposed to Silva’s nine, he is a decorated kickboxer and Muay Thai competitor, holding wins over various pro-mixed martial artists, including Georgian UFC fighter Giga Chikadze.
The co-main bout of the evening is a heavyweight brawl against the Brazilian Paulo Renato Jr. (10-1) and Jamal “The Storm Trooper” Pogues (8-3). Renato Jr. was initially slated to face Caio Machado; however, after facing visa-related issues, Machado was replaced by Pogues. Renato Jr. and Pogues have regularly fought in lower weight classes, with Renato Jr. being a former welterweight and Pogues a light-heavyweight.
The headliner for DWCS Week 3 is a highly-anticipated scrap between Nickal and Borrego. Nickal is a former NCAA Division I wrestler, and although he holds just one pro-MMA win, he has garnered the attention of many fans, fighters, and coaches after his knockout win at Jorge Marsvidal’s iKon FC 3. However, he faces a strong opponent in Borrego, who is a silver medalist Junior Olympian in Taekwondo.
