However, there are also some who are not yet as confident as others, and want to learn fashion tricks that will make them feel more comfortable.
Here, offering a helping hand, one fashionista shared advice and revealed the must-have items fellow fashion lovers should have in their wardrobes if they want to hide their tummy.
Taking it to YouTube, Emily Lucy Rajch, who boasts a whopping 86,000 subscribers on the platform, shared a list of the ''staples pieces to hide the tum''.
These items, according to Emily, a Size 12 to Size 14 herself, are ones she ''absolutely'' swears by and pulls out ''every single season without fail''.read more fashion storiesNOT THE BREAST From the padded bra to the G-string, these are the top tacky lingerie styles Shapewear
The first must-have in the video was shapewear by Primark.
In fact, Emily raves about the product so much, she claimed that she's had Primark managers messaging her and saying the shapewear line's been sold out.
Not only can you wear it to smooth out any bumps but the bodysuit also looks great as a regular top, Emily added.

Next up in the list was a pair of floaty shorts, which, in Emily's opinion, is they ''key word'' to search for when shopping online.
''If you have big legs like me, stomach or anything that you're trying to disguise in this area or legs chaffing together [...], the word ''floaty'' is your friend.''

Denim shorts are also a winner - and the whizz shared a hack to avoid thighs from rubbing together.
''I go to the Tall section. The Tall section for denim shorts is a godsend.''Double-layer bodysuit
When updating your wardrobe you should also include a double-layer bodysuit, which will also prevent ''any nipple action'' from happening, Emily added.
''It's just such a great addition to throw on with anything - [...] with some joggers, with trousers, [...], jeans, blazer.''
Wearing a bodysuit like this, she went on, will also slim you down ''because it pulls you in the same way that shapewear does''.Shirt dress 6Here you can add a lace bodysuit underneath for eye-catching detailingCredit: YouTube / Emily Lucy Rajch
A shirt dress, which according to one fashion whizz means you're ''quite goal-orientated, career-minded'', is also a staple if you want to hide your tummy.
To add a little something-something to the outfit, Emily advised to wear a lace - or a plain - bodysuit underneath and use a belt to cinch the waist.Wrap dress
''If you're somebody who has a stomach that you feel like is not able to cinch in anywhere, you want to be going for these style dresses.''
If possible, go for wrap dresses with ruffle detailing, as this, the whizz explained, will ''distract the eye from any unwanted belly area that you feel self-conscious about''.6Wrap dresses and skirt - another staple to look for when shoppingCredit: YouTube / Emily Lucy Rajch Ruched detailing
As well as ''wrap'' and ''floaty'', fashionistas should keep in mind the word ''ruching''.
Whether a dress, a skirt or a top, the ruched detailing is extremely ''flattering'', Emily noted.High waisted jeans
''I always go for a straight leg, skinny jean with a high waist.''
When trying on jeans, go for ones that ''have a good stretch in it'', the fashion lover noted.
''Do not go for bigger size in jeans. Make sure they fit you perfectly.''Blazers
Sharing her advice, Emily said there are two types of blazers she typically goes for - a more snug fit for night-outs and an oversized one for a more casual outfit.
Another tip is making sure the shoulder area doesn't go over your shoulders, as this will make you look larger.Read More on The SunPRIZE REACTION I won £14m on the lottery as a single mum - I quit work and ditched family Wrap skirt
Similarly to wrap dresses, a skirt with a wrap detailing is another must-have staple in your wardrobe if you want to hide your tummy.
