Cities across the nation are swapping out Independence Day firework shows for drone shows.

Galveston, Texas; North Lake Tahoe and Imperial Beach, California; and Castle Pines, Colorado, will use lit drones to celebrate the Fourth of July this year. While Massachusetts is the only state that bans all consumer fireworks, cities nationwide with high fire risks are also outright banning fireworks to prevent risk.

Lake Tahoe has banned fireworks across its basin, Galveston won't allow fireworks on its beaches or within city limits, and Imperial Beach doesn't allow fireworks on its sands. Personal fireworks aren't allowed in Castle Pines either.

Drone shows have appeared at Tennessee's Dollywood and recently at the SNF Nostos Festival in June. A video captured their second appearance at the festival.

"We've fielded hundreds of requests that we, unfortunately, can't take," founder and CEO of drone company Graham Hill said. His company will rent anywhere from 100 to 500 drones for $2,000 to $25,000.

Still, the fireworks industry earned $262 million in revenue from public displays and $2.2 billion from consumer purchases last year, according to the American Pyrotechnics Association.

Love Island’s Paige and Adam Collard cosy up in matching outfits – after she deleted Jacques

LOVE Island’s latest couple Paige Thorne, 24, and Adam Collard, 26, have cosied up for some snaps in matching outfits while on a night out.

Adam took to social media to share the loved-up photos, as he wrapped his arm around his gorgeous Welsh girlfriend.

Adam donned a white shirt, while Paige looked beautiful in a white dress with a glamorous makeup look and her brunette locks down.

Adam penned: “more life” as the caption, and shared a string of photos with Paige and documenting his life outside of the villa.

The couple met on this year’s show and immediately hit it off, after Paige’s failed romance with Jacques after his shock exit.

Fans of the pair swooned over the pictures, with one person writing: “Happy for you lad,” while another said: “never break up please and thank you.”

The matching outfit photo comes just hours after paramedic Paige deleted all traces of Jacques O'Neill from her Instagram after he apologised amid the ongoing bullying row.

Paige and Jacques, 23, were coupled up in the Love Island villa before he made the shock decision to quit the show.

Andrew Le Page confirmed he'd unfollowed Jacques on Instagram too, after he was accused of bullying Tasha Ghouri.

Speaking about distancing himself from Jacques, Andrew said on Heat's Under The Duvet: “Yeah, it obviously is true [I unfollowed Jacques].'

“Tasha is my priority and obviously there was a video that came out. We're trying to move away from it all and just be ourselves and get on with life.”

Last night Jacques took to Instagram to comment on bullying claims, after he was also accused of targeting Remi Lambert.

In a lengthy statement, Jacques addressed the situation and apologised for his actions.

He began: "I just want to acknowledge the situation that's happening right now and apologise if my behaviour has caused offence or been misinterpreted over the last few weeks.

"I genuinely have no bad feelings towards anyone and I've not meant for anything to come across that way at all. It was not my intention and I'm genuinely sorry if it has.”
